Better than Oud Wood
Al Haramain Oudh Musk has truly impressed me as an Oud lover. Since Oudh Musk is said to have similarities with Oud Wood, I specifically tested OW and Carved Oud (yes, I know these three perfumes do not contain a drop of real Oud) in the perfumery - and lo and behold: The similarities are about 80%.

The fragrance offers a warm, woody base reminiscent of Oud Wood, combined with the sweetness of Carved Oud. Particularly noteworthy is the spray nozzle - it creates a fine mist, ensuring an even distribution.

In short: Al Haramain Oudh Musk provides a luxurious fragrance experience at a fair price - perfect for anyone looking to get close to the classic without having to dig deep into their pockets. The longevity is also better than that of Oud Wood (which isn't that hard, lol).

Liquid Gold
Dhanal Oudh Estethnay presents itself as a remarkable fragrance that combines the depth of the Oud tradition with a subtle Western touch. This scent offers an interesting balance between intensity and elegance, without the often overwhelming heaviness associated with Oud fragrances. Notably, this perfume boasts a quality and refinement that sets it apart from many in its class, despite its comparatively low price of around 60 euros.

The Oud note, which serves as the central element of the perfume, is clear and strong, yet skillfully softened by sweet and spicy accents. It is astonishing how well this Oud accord is achieved, even though the use of real Oud in this price segment is rather unlikely. The perfume unfolds on the skin with a deep, woody base, without drifting into the animalistic or hard-to-access areas that often occur with many cheaper Oud fragrances.

The subtle notes of rose and tonka bean add a delicate sweetness and warmth to the scent, making it appealing to both newcomers to Oud fragrances and experienced connoisseurs. Particularly noteworthy is the impressive longevity on the skin, ensuring that the fragrance remains intensely perceptible even after hours.

What remains almost incomprehensible, however, is the lack of recognition that this fragrance receives in the broader perfume world. Amidst the many discussions about Oud, Dhanal Oudh Estethnay remains strangely overlooked. Given its impressive balance between price and performance, it is surprising that hardly anyone talks about this scent.

Dhanal Oudh Estethnay offers Oud lovers a convincing option that is suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions. It is a fragrance that demonstrates that excellence does not necessarily have to be tied to a high price and has the potential to win many more admirers - if only it received the attention it deserves.

Dupe for Greatness
"Lattafa OUD For Glory" has impressed me from the very beginning with its affordable elegance in the form of luxurious packaging and a heavy bottle. In my opinion, this makes it an outstanding gift option. Inspired by Initio Oud for Greatness, this fragrance offers a captivating blend of saffron, nutmeg, lavender, patchouli, and musk, which together create a deep, oriental, and expensive scent.

Despite its affordable price, "For Glory" has surprised me with its remarkably high quality and lasting fragrance note. Especially for lovers of oriental, smoky scents with patchouli and saffron, this fragrance is, in my opinion, an excellent choice. The initially masculine note evolves over time into a powdery nuance, making it appealing to both men and women.

I recommend applying the fragrance to clothing to ensure it lasts longer. This makes "OUD For Glory" attractive for those who appreciate a scent with long-lasting effects. The versatility of this fragrance is evident in how well it blends with other scents, making it an extremely flexible option.

It is important to note that the effect of the fragrance can vary from person to person, and applying it to clothing enhances the lasting fragrance effect. Overall, I find "Lattafa OUD For Glory" to be an affordable way to experience a luxurious and versatile scent that has definitely found its place in my fragrance collection.

Royal
Blue Oud by Ibrahim al-Qurashi is a fragrance that leaves a lasting impression, both in terms of its longevity and the overall scent experience. In a deep blue, weighty bottle with a metallic casing, the fragrance exudes a touch of sophistication and class that matches its elegant presentation.

The official notes, which include blue lilies, oud, patchouli, leather, tobacco, and amber, provide insight into the complexity of this scent. However, the sharp nose of the reviewer also perceives additional nuances, such as saffron, rose, and fruity elements that add depth to the composition.

Contrary to what the name might suggest, "Blue Oud" does not correspond to the typical fresh or summery fragrance profile. Rather, it is a serious oriental scent that conveys a royal aura and evokes a sense of royalty with every whiff.

One of the standout features of Blue Oud is its exceptional longevity, which is noted as 20 hours. Blue Oud not only lasts on the skin but also leaves a strong imprint on clothing for days, making it a reliable choice for anyone seeking a long-lasting fragrance.

The sillage or projection of Blue Oud is powerful yet tasteful, a balance that makes it suitable for cooler weather and special occasions.

Kuzeng from Elixir
As a passionate fragrance lover always on the lookout for affordable alternatives, Lattafa Asad has exceeded my expectations and proven to be a true gem. This scent promises to be a perfect alternative to Dior Sauvage Elixir, and my experience with it has pleasantly surprised me.

The warmth and spiciness of Lattafa Asad make it particularly suitable for the winter months. The licorice note, reminiscent of Dior Sauvage Elixir, has been cleverly combined with vanilla, giving the fragrance a unique nuance. With a longevity of seven to eight hours, this scent clearly surpasses my expectations.

However, alongside the positive aspects, there are also critical voices, as described by some. The initial cola note may be perceived by some as synthetic and piercing. However, as the scent develops, it transforms into a softer version of the elixir. The longevity of about 4-5 hours may not compete with the original, but at a price of 20-25 euros, I find that quite acceptable.

I want to emphasize that Lattafa Asad is not just an alternative, but a pleasant fragrance for everyday wear. Its warmth, the slight deviation from the original, and above all the affordable price make it a staple in my fragrance collection.
