High quality and an amazing value

I am really impressed with this one. It offers a lot for its price, very well blended with leather, oud and incense. There is a very nice blue ink note that reminds me of Amouage rose incense (but here it is more pronounced)
The scent is dark and strong, definitely masculine and more suitable for colder months.
Not for the faint heart through - could be perceived a bit animalic by some inexperienced noses but it is an amazing scent

Ballpoint ink and oud

In summary this is the personality Ombre Nomade without any of the affectations used to make it palatable to everyday acquaintances. This is what the title is: blue Oud. Imagine breaking your ballpoint pen in your pocket and inadvertently putting your hand in the ink. Now mix that with a dry and animalic oud. This is in essence what blue Oud is. On the dry down the scent really smoothes out and has na almost waxy feel. This type of scent is a staple for big occasions in the middle east, although maybe overwhelm delicate western nostrils. The performance is ludicrous. One of the few perfumes from hundreds I own where I need to count the sprays. 3 to 4 max. Smells like absolute money.

It’s Ani x Ombré Nomade

Sat with this for some months now and it’s unbelievable. I think next to Unique’e Luxury’s Kutay and Mancera’s Arabians Tonka this is the most beastly performing fragrance in my collection. Even more than Ombré Nomade.

But I’ve finally figured what this reminds me of. This is a combination of Ombré Nomade & Nishane’s Ani. Unbelievable scent and managed to grab for an absolute bargain when converting into £s (equivalent to £55) from the UAE.
