Opens with sweet lavender, which comes across as almost fruity or bubblegum-like.

The vanilla is quiet at first, before it takes over the fragrance completely after a short while and becomes a slightly smoky alla black tie vanilla.
From then on, it remains vanilla.

For me, the better mon guerlain
It is more youthful, the lavender is not as sharp, and I don't find it as deep.
Mon guerlain is much warmer and more wintery.

H&S unfortunately not quite convincing.
(Overspray helps) But that's exactly why it's very suitable as a date fragrance, because the moderate H&S is not too overwhelming.

Also love the bottle, very classy!

A new summer love!

I'm not a fan of fruity fragrances, usually too synthetic, too childish or sticky sweet.
This time was different.

Cruz del Sur opens directly with a juicy mango, a bit caramelly and a little lactonic.
Not gourmand, I would say, but still delicious.

I don't smell the association with a mango lassi!
I recently drank a mango lassi
Incidentally, it consists of mango and natural hogurt (+ milk to liquefy)
So the lassi has this cold sour smell of natural yogurt + mango This does NOT apply to the smell at all!
I sometimes wonder if anyone has ever smelled or drunk a lassi who says that.
But ok :)

I would rather say
Sweet, perfectly ripe mango, or mango syrup, perhaps even more like a full-bodied soft drink and very slightly milky.
Fruity, fresh, creamy sweet.
A super beautiful fragrance that smells like summer and puts you in a good mood!

Such a SWEET powdery tonka scent.

Scent : Wow Wow Wow!

Actually too sweet for my taste.

But I just can't stop smelling it !!!
I'm so unsure whether I have to have a bottle or not?
I will probably only be able to wear it very rarely or have the opportunity to do so.
but I WANT TO HAVE !!!!

Somehow the vibe reminds me a bit of Amyris Femme Eau de Parfum only with more sweetness and LOTS of tonka bean.
So warm, comforting.
Rather for colder days but spray my jacket that hangs in the hallway with it in summer too :D.
It could be too powerful for some people or get on their nerves! So use sparingly!

But now Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum is firmly mine!

I would never have thought that such a spicy and special fragrance, tea fragrances in general, could do this to me.
But what can I say....
It has become one of my great loves.

He brings me down so much!
I love that creamy tea fig, the cardamom?...the cardamom?
A little spicier at the end but never mind, the beginning and middle are just magical.
