Total miss Celine DNA outlier
I don’t know what’s going on here- this is a total flop for me. I love Celine’s DNA and most of the line.
1. Celine’s gorgeous vanilla is missing here, replaced with a weird plasticky chapstick textured caramel/vanilla.
2. None of Celine’s wondeful Orris- okay.
There is barely a whisper of powdery amber under this strange plastic vanilla toffee?
This smells NOTHING like Shalimar Iris (a favorite of mine) not black tie or Dans Paris.
There is also a tartness (maybe Tonka) that comes across like fruity pebbles or cereal fruitiness. I wish they pushed the quirkiness and amped up the projection, maybe I would enjoy it more. It’s like when your favorite band put out a flop- disappointing.

Cozy Gourmand
This Celine fragrance is the epitome of quiet luxury—understated yet effortlessly refined, like a perfectly tailored wool coat on a crisp autumn day. Designed for cooler weather, it wraps around you like a comforting embrace, subtly enhancing your presence without demanding attention.

While it leans gourmand, it never ventures into overly sweet or cloying territory. Instead, it strikes a delicate balance—rich and inviting but never overwhelming. The composition unfolds smoothly, making it an ideal transition from day to night, seamlessly adapting to different settings. It’s not a perfume for grand occasions, but rather a sophisticated everyday indulgence, perfect for those who appreciate elegance in the details.

Dimmed Perfection
Celine, Celine - you’ve done it again. Although “done it” doesn’t quite fit with Celine.
Celine doesn’t crash in, doesn’t overwhelm. Celine fragrances appear, float in, stroll..
So does this dream of a poem.
When I read the fragrance notes, I already had a rough idea of what to expect, yet it still hit me hard when I joyfully ran to my wife to inhale the delicious scent in her slipstream.
Celine can do vanilla like only Guerlain can. They have definitely created their own DNA, and in this combination with tonka, musk, and benzoin, which is by no means new on the market, they have delivered their masterpiece.

Now some will complain about the short longevity or the lack of sillage, but I think it’s just right as it is.
Here, less is more, clearly. You’re not overwhelmed; it’s still present for a long time, sometimes it disappears only to come back again, and in the end, it even becomes a touch more beautiful.

Where Dans Paris was previously my favorite, now two divine creations from Celine belong to my favorites. While I love Zouzou on my wife, I wear Dans Paris in the evening; it doesn’t get better than that.

Celine, Celine - you enchant me, stay true to yourself and surprise us again someday; I can hardly wait.

The Fragrant Pendant to a Chameleon
Zouzou has what I smell in Shalimar Millésime Iris as caramel threads, the airy, light vanilla from "Dans Paris | Celine," and a hint of powderiness from "Black Tie | Celine." I also suspect what dear Cardea meant with the Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum interpretation: there is a hint of BR 540 (perhaps due to the caramel undertone?), but minimal and in typical Celine elegance (if there were more of it, I would quickly make my escape). Zouzou is clearly a child of the Celine family!

So, first of all, there’s really nothing that I would need to want, as the scent is a kaleidoscope of many fragrances from my collection. On the other hand, there is something behind it that makes it different. There is something bitter in Zouzou, a slightly green accent; a handful of earth; a crumbled piece of dark chocolate. The fragrance constantly shifts between all its facets; sometimes sweeter, sometimes earthier, always powdery - just like a chameleon.

So, to summarize briefly: a blend of other fragrances - all are present in muted form. And yet distinct with an exciting green/bitter/earthy/chocolatey background hum, which I find magnificent. Very successful!

Sweet Seduction in Milan
Zouzou by Celine is a fragrance that surprises me with its diverse facets and has captivated me immediately. From the very first application, a harmonious, addictive blend of vanilla sweetness and seductive lightness unfolds, instantly enchanting.

But let's start from the beginning...
Milan, late August - it's hot. Too hot for a sightseeing tour, so we used the day for an extensive fragrance stroll.
We visited many exclusive perfumeries and boutiques, but I particularly want to highlight the excellent advice at Celine Milano, which perfectly rounded off my fragrance journey. The knowledgeable and passionate guidance helped me discover Zouzou for myself - a scent that can be worn both in everyday life and on special occasions.

Zouzou is playful yet sophisticated. The seductive sweetness of vanilla, paired with benzoin, gives the fragrance an inviting warmth, while the patchouli note grounds the scent and lends it a refined restraint. This balance between sweet sensuality and elegant modesty makes Zouzou an extraordinary olfactory experience that is not easily categorized.
For me, it is a successful blend of Black Tie and Coromandel, a hint of nostalgia combined with modern sophistication.
Zouzou is indeed vanilla sweet, but I wouldn't categorize it as a gourmand.
I would describe it as a unisex fragrance with a slight tendency towards the feminine side. Surprisingly, my partner also liked it so much that we bought the 200 ml bottle in the Celine Boutique on the same day. Our first shared fragrance...
The bottle is kept very simple, and I like the magnetic closure cap.
With its subtle sillage, Zouzou is also suitable as a daily companion from September to May.
The longevity could be a bit better, at least in terms of projection, but it lasts quite long when up close.

For anyone looking for a perfume that combines playful sweetness with an elegant and mature base, Zouzou is a wonderful choice.
However, one should like vanilla.
A fragrance that adapts to any situation without losing depth and character.

This is baby powder with subtle tonka&vanillic backbone. Slight ambery touches in there as well. Decent Femme winter night wear.

Something plasticky sweet about this. Not for me

Shalimar if she were a dainty teenager up to no good — acid, tonka-forward, unlike a Celine until it dries into that soft Celine vanilla.

Soft, powdery iris, with a dash of salty-skin scent and a deep vanilla-balsamic heart. Beautiful and too fragile to last.

Bold sweetness with some spice and resin thrown in. Development is linear, and the boldness in the opening fades rather quickly.

Hated this initially but it’s grown on me. A warg hug and soff vanilla

Since vanilla and tonka are directly consumed by the limbic system, Celine needed something like that too, but it’s not better than others.

The Celine DNA is unmistakable to me now. Again, the finest, powdery vanilla complemented by sweet tonka bean and with a +

Dark spiced chocolate layered with an almost herbaceous moss note. Exciting and unusual for a gourmand fragrance.
