Favorite Spring Fragrances
Since many spring scents are "floral-forward", they can be polarizing in the fragrance community - as people often have strong feelings about different floral notes.
Despite the bulk of my fragrance wardrobe being gourmand, there are plenty of beautiful florals to enjoy. Some of my personal favorites include jasmine, peach blossom, and gardenia - and I especially love them combined with something sweet or "edible". 🍓
So whether you prefer your florals to be "forward", gourmand, or somewhere inbetween, here are a few spring fragrances I've been loving lately:
1. 
Florence Eau de Parfum
Starting off with the queen of gardenia fragrances, Tocca is ultra indolic, creamy, and realistic - but more of a gardenia solinote, with less greenery than a full gardenia bush. The indolic and creamy nature almost mimics a barely-ripe banana, and isn't anywhere close to the typical "generic white floral"/"hairspray" fragrance. Instead, this is sweet, heady, smooth, and performs powerfully. A must-try for gardenia-lovers!

Wanderlust
Wanderlust's notes are a bit misleading, as it sounds like it would be more green than anything else - but to me this smells like a fruity-floral mix of green tea, peach blossom, peony, and wisteria. A splash of something sweet and clean, and what I would consider a universally-appealing "floral freshie".
3. 
Flower Moon Perfume
Flower Moon is a magical blend of jasmine, peach iced tea, and a hint of vanilla. Wearing this makes me feel like I'm dressed in a delicate, gilded gown - sipping a chilled peach tea out of a glass goblet, in a moon-lit garden filled with night-blooming jasmine. It doesn't have the greatest projection or longevity, but is still one of my most favorite spring scents.
4. 
Nollie Eau de Parfum
PacSun has re-released this early-2000s fan favorite, and it's very close to the original formula: with a refreshingly-tart splash of green apple, light florals in the background (feels like fresh and soapy jasmine), and overall fruity "shampoo" vibes. It's sweet, crisp, clean, and green - perfect for spring!
5. "Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla | Bath & Body Works"
The re-release of Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla (currently in Bath & Body Works stores with the faceted bottle design), is unfortunately nothing like the original formula and very synthetic - so it's worth hunting down an older bottle, with the white lace overlay label pictured here.
To me, this is one of BBW's more unique offerings. The strawberry is tart + fresh, the bourbon is subtly-musky + sweet, and the jasmine is very clean + soapy. Although it's part of this spring scent roundup, Bourbon Strawberry & Vanilla has the potential to be signature scent-worthy in my opinion. As a bonus, it has strong projection/impressive lasting power - longer than some of my EDPs.
