Delicious Nectarine
First of all, I love nectarines, oranges, and generally all fruits with an orange-yellow color :D
I am looking for fragrances with a pronounced nectarine or peach note. Recently, I was disappointed by the Boss "Scent for Her," but this Jo Malone has exceeded my expectations.

Finally, I can smell peach that doesn't come off as artificial. The nectarine or peach (pardon, I can't distinguish them by scent) stands out clearly without being sticky sweet.

The background for the nectarine is a slightly powdery, somewhat musty scent, but that's not meant to be derogatory! This makes the scent of the nectarine a bit more subtle. The green notes blend nicely with the fruits. Unfortunately, I can only perceive honey and currant very faintly.

The longevity is unexpectedly good on me! Still detectable after 6 hours, though the sillage diminishes.
Overall, a candidate for purchase, but I can't justify the price. The scent is nothing new, but it is a sufficiently successful creation so that a peach lover doesn't have to resort to cheap, artificial body sprays.

The fragrance was tested at low temperatures :D I'm curious to see how it develops in summer at 30 degrees.

I've Got the Pants On!
After my first comment on the platform was unfortunately a polemical comment against an Escada fragrance, I am glad to leave my second comment for this Balenciaga scent, which particularly caught my attention.

I first tested it in August, during the almost unbearable temperatures of Southern Europe. Although I am from the South, I can't handle strong heat very well myself. Shortly after testing the fragrance, I read a few comments here. “Cucumber salad with dill” was the comment from MarieTheres, and I became skeptical! I didn’t want to smell like cucumber salad!! But there was really something to it (though not so extreme, I thought)! It was due to the bitterness and freshness of the scent and the outside temperature!
After a few hours, we became friends. And it lasted a long time, which I thought was great. In these temperatures of over 30 degrees, it was a refreshment without citrus, without “soap.” Green fruity and slightly woody.

However, I only bought it in mid-September - temperatures in Germany were already lower. And therefore, the scent suddenly felt different (no cucumber salad :D)! Bitter and dry, strongly woody for me, less green, which is why I would describe it more as fruity-woody rather than green-fruity.

The bottle is, by the way, as with the entire B. Balenciaga line, great! An expressionist art object that I enjoy looking at.

Resume: The core of this fragrance is strong, its exterior soft. Not a typically feminine scent. I show my femininity, but I've got the pants on!

Top.

I don't know...
...how to best phrase it so that the fans of the perfume are not irritated. I have read great reviews here, the bottle looks fantastic, the name sounds so seductive. And I really wanted to test it. I and floral scents rarely become friends, but unfortunately, I have to say that for the first time a perfume has disgusted me so much!! I really felt it in my stomach for minutes. And that was just from smelling it on paper. I didn't dare to spray it on my skin afterwards. Heavily floral and then also very sweet. Somehow too much. Therefore, here first without a rating. Will it get a chance later? We'll see.
