Suntan lotion yes, but great suntan lotion
Citrus top notes give way to a soft, warm breeze scented with tropical flowers, coconut, bleached wood, sand, and salt water drying on skin. This perfume truly has everything that I love. A transporting scent that evokes a perfect summer day at the beach. Lovely.

Sun tan lotion
I tried this perfume a few times last year, and even though I would not purchase it for myself, its scent intrigued me.

This is one of those fragrances that remind you of coconutty suntan lotion. Not horrible, but not what you expect to find in a fragrance. Men seemed to really dislike this when I wore it, which figures because almost all men hate the smell of fake tan.

I'd say it would fit in nicely as a summery, beachy fragrance, because it tends to remind me a lot of Bondi and Manly Beach up Sydney way of which I have some very fond memories as a teen.

Like walking through a citrus garden
I bought this because I was looking for a nice beach fragrance. But I got nothing but citrus out of it. WONDERFUL citrus, linear, close to the skin and long lasting. Even though it is not what I expected, I really like it and enjoy it as a fresh summery scent. But when I want to feel in a beach mood, I will go back to Jil Sander Sun, Jil Sander Style Pastels Soft Yellow or Salvador Dali Laguna. By the way, I own the 2011 special edition bottle.

Liquid sunshine
One of the best and easiest ‘feel good’ fragrances I own. Bronze Goddess is something I wore a lot when I lived in Rome but, unlike Paris-Deauville, for example, I find it performs just as well in the cooler climes of Northern Europe as in more humid conditions. What draws me to Bronze Goddess is its simple but utterly relaxing contrast between the fresh and the balmy. You do get a generous dose of the milky, sunshiny coconut-tiaré heart, an accord that is certainly sunscreen-adjacent, but it never tips into full-on Tropicana territory due to the tart citrus breeze and salty wood notes slicing through it all. A tinge of cocunut husk roughs it up just enough so that it is more than just pretty. In the late drydown, when all the other notes have packed it in for the night, what remains on the skin is a subtle muskiness that feels like what Glossier You and Fleur de Peau are aiming for.

Something...
Reviewing a sample of their latest - and now available - 'Eau Fraiche' version from 2019 since that is said to be most true to the original.
I don't like it, there's something nausiating and headache inducing in this; I had the same experience with "Terracotta Le Parfum | Guerlain". Something I also sense in "Maroussia | Slava Zaïtsev" and which I hate with all my heart. They ofcourse are nothing alike except for the fact that they do share some notes, but I don't know which note does that with my chemistry, but I find it awful. Maybe it's just the blend.
I love Intense Tiaré because I love the Tiare flower, but in here the Tiare is burried in something that does not compliment that note, I think.
I also find it very linear after drydown, a little 'cheap' smelling (don't get me wrong: I don't mind a good cheapy, but this is not cheap nor good in my opinion) and sillage and longevity are bad, which in this case I didn't mind.

Posted here because 2019 eau fraiche is listed as a special edition of 2008, which I doubt btw. Adorable stuff tho. True sunny beach vibes

Now sold as Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche Skinscent. Despite the name/bottle change, the scent is the same dreamy, summer beauty.

Coconut suntan lotion with an undertone of spiciness and some freshness from various flowers. Good for summer, but a bit generic.

For my taste, definitely too tropical and heavy. I find it a bit overwhelming. Many sunscreens smell like this today.

Reminds me of carefree times when I chose sunscreen by scent (exotic!) and not by SPF...

Despite the seductive promises of coconut milk, citrus fruits, and orange blossom, it just smells rancid and unpleasant to me, like old melon.

South Sea 35 degrees, I'm lying under a coconut palm... Reality... Berlin 35 degrees, I'm sitting in the office and smelling like the South Sea. Pure summer feeling!

This goddess has rolled in overly sweet, cloying flowers + too much greasy coconut cream. It almost makes me feel sick. Unfortunately, no vacation vibe.

With L'Oreal sunscreen and sand on my skin and a coconut cocktail in hand, enjoying the wind at the beach in Thorsminde. Alarm! Wanderlust!
