Is there something from Ratiopharm too?
Right after applying it, my first two thoughts were:
1. Is there something from Ratiopharm too? Everyone associates experiences etc. with certain "nose impressions". My very first thought was: Did I accidentally rub myself with Vicks VapoRub? The cedar oil hit me hard in the nose, but my nose was clear!
2. My second thought: I wonder if it would hurt a lot if I quickly amputated my wrist to get rid of the smell?
BUT: it took 10 minutes, and then it happened: The plum took the scepter in hand, and the scent became very pleasant. The cedar almost completely receded.
All in all: Bought it blindly (because it was a bargain at the discount store), digested the initial shock, and in the end, quite satisfied. I almost suspect "Kalle" calculated the shock! He first clears the nose with the massive cedar oil, only to later make the whole thing very sweet and powdery with the plum and vanilla.

Christmas in the Lonely Forest Cabin
"Last christmas I gave you my heart"... When I smell "Deep Forest," I see George Michael singing Last Christmas in the lonely forest cabin during the holiday season. Blessing or curse, no one knows for sure :-)
The fragrance feels quite out of place in warm seasons with its cinnamon and incense, but as soon as it gets colder, it truly becomes a wonderful composition.
Overall, it's a heavy scent. Who doesn't know the smell of the forest after a rain shower? That's how "Deep Forest" smells in the top note. If we then add the spices of a Christmas bakery to the mix, we arrive at the heart and base notes.
My conclusion: a great fragrance, unfortunately no longer on the market (but luckily still on my shelf)

New logo, new bottle, classic scent.
When writing a comment, one should be sure of their stance. My "Bogner Man Classic" still has the old logo and the old bottle from the 90s. Therefore, I first researched today: Is it the old scent in a new bottle? After 2 hours of internet research: no solution!
The classic has changed manufacturers countless times and along with it the bottle and the logo. It was off the market, came back, was taken off the market again, and is now returning, but according to an email from Bogner support, only the exterior has really changed, not the scent.
Now to the scent: for me, one of THE classics. As soon as the scent components reach my nose, I immediately see the renowned suit wearer in front of me. The scent is very clear and smells fresh despite its strong note. What is typical about the scent for me is the soapy quality, which I mean very positively.
I would put it this way:
Top note: fresh shower, noble shower gel, masculinity
Heart note: purity, nobility, determination
Base note: will to succeed, courage, maturity

To B or not to B
"Bogner B Man" is relatively easy to describe:
The scent is light and sporty. There are no hidden surprises. The fruity notes are subtle (only to be guessed). The woods, tea aromas, and pepper are noticeable right upon application. When applied in moderation, it is the ideal scent after showering / after sports.
"Bogner B Man" in three words: clear, masculine, sporty (which is also what the dumbbell shape is meant to convey).

Impulse buy without a prior scent test...
"Del Mar Marbella" by Baldessarini has probably been discontinued last year with the turquoise "D....". I was just on site and the bright red -50% sticker drove me to an impulse buy, as I have never encountered anything truly bad from Baldessarini.
The scent itself is not spectacular but smells very pleasant. Well dosed, it is good to wear in summer; in colder seasons, the old butcher's saying "Would you like a little more?" applies.
What confuses me: I perceive the scent notes in reverse order. Right after application, the fragrance on me smells rather dominant. I first notice the earthy and woody aromas. Over time, the bitter note fades, and it transforms into aqua nuances with salty notes and the light citrus influence of grapefruit.
In my mind, the scent progression resembles a walk from a wooded mountain down to the beach, where you can smell the sea so vividly that you believe you can taste the saltwater in your mouth.
