another Musk Tahara fragrance
I ordered the fragrance because I just wanted to know if it was different from "Pure Musk | Lattafa / لطافة" and "Musk Mood | Lattafa / لطافة". The answer: not really haha. It's not a problem for me as I love this fragrance profile, but if you have one of these three perfumes you don't need the others.

Differences between the three fragrances are so subtle that I can hardly describe them, really not worth mentioning. The Pure Musk is a tad stronger I think. The "Pure Musk | Lattafa / لطافة" is perhaps a little more floral and the "Musk Mood | Lattafa / لطافة" a little more creamy. But basically they are all the same scent.

If you have never smelled any of the three perfumes, you should try a bottle of Musk Tahara in an Arabic store in your city. Most brands all have the same smell with this product, namely this one. Intensely clean, but in a different way to our clean fragrances. Ours are often very citrusy, whereas this musk is more floral.

As with all Musk Tahara fragrances, the longevity is phenomenal. MMn also all unisex, don't know exactly why so many people classify such clean fragrances as purely feminine (I suppose for these people a clean man can only smell like blue shower gel lmao). But it's funny anyway that the gender classification of the three perfumes mentioned here is so different haha. You all seem to go more by the packaging than the scent.

which forest would you like?
even if you asked me with a gun to my head if i liked the Encre Noire Eau de Toilette or the Encre Noire à L'Extrême better, i couldn't decide. both fragrances are beautiful (the whole range is beautiful), and i would never want to miss either of them. but what's the difference between the two? Quite simply: they are two different interpretations of the forest.

Encre Noire Eau de Toilette is a damp, fresh, green forest. It has just rained, the ferns are up to your knees and the conifers are sprouting new shoots, even if the air is still cool.

Encre Noire à L'Extrême, on the other hand, is a warmer and drier pine forest. the ground is covered in brown needles and moss here and there. You smell the brown bark and the dry wood. aromatic dark resin drips here and there, but above you the needles are still green.

in general, i find the EN à l'extréme a little stronger, clearly woody, and more masculine (but not in the 0815 way). in contrast, the original EN is a little lighter and definitely 100% unisex (don't understand why many find it so masculine).

If your taste tends towards crowdpleasers, pantydroppers and beastmode gourmands, I would definitely advise against this fragrance. However, if you are looking for something more unusual and more natural, then I think you've come to the right place.
(Note on longevity: if you become smell-blind to iso e super quickly or don't perceive it so strongly in general, you will certainly stop smelling this fragrance quite quickly - but longer than the original EN, because the resins help a little here)

Can you love a fragrance that you can't describe?
Masc, but not macho. Clean, but not shower gel. Sauna, but not coniferous forest. Old-school, but not grandpa.

This fragrance is difficult for me to describe, but it is wonderful. It's fresh and aromatic, without any specific citrus, green or aquatic notes. It reminds me of my grandpa, freshly showered and shaved, but it's not one of those grandma-grandpa fragrances that I like so much. Maybe it's just timeless.

The only concrete thing I can say is the following: the fragrance is definitely at least pleasant for anyone who likes light and somewhat masculine scents. However, it doesn't smell as dudebro as other popular freshies in this area. In any case, I think it's wonderful! The fragrance is very linear and the sillage is moderate. A very good office fragrance! And the 3ml bottles are so cheap, you can't go wrong.

Edit: Layered with the Nivea Sun (or the La Rive dupe of it I guess) it smells soooo good! I already love it on its own, but the sweetness of the Nivea Sun rounds it off soooo well!

Clean, soapy and with an ozone vibe
First of all, I find the edp more intense than the oil, it also has more projection. But there's not really a difference in terms of smell.

And what does it smell like? Well, I can't really find the listed fragrance notes. It's a beautiful clean scent, but it's difficult to describe. It's clean in a slightly harsh way that somehow reminds me of metal and the smell of ozone from printers. But not musty, but freshly washed. Thoroughly scrubbed with curd soap! Okay, that might not sound quite so nice, but it really is a good scent!

Most Clean Girl fragrances are one of three options: sweet and "fluffy", fruity and shampoo-like, or floral and aldehyde-heavy. This one is different. In my opinion, it doesn't have the molecules à la Blanc-À-Porter (or Blanche Eau de Parfum because it's supposed to be similar? but I've never smelled it, so idk), but it still has that synthetic-clean feel of very pure mountain air.

I don't know if I've managed to describe the fragrance in any comprehensible way. In any case, I like it wonderfully and it is extremely long-lasting for a clean fragrance. And at such a price, that's really not bad :)

PS: I don't understand why the fragrance was classified as completely feminine here in Diagramm. Such a clear white musk is 100 percent unisex? Strange...

I treat myself to the grandma fragrance because it smells good
My own grandma never wore cologne or anything similar as far as I know, but when I walk past a grandma in the city, there's a good chance that I'll get a whiff of 4711 in my nose. Ergo the association of granny scent.

And yet I like it so much that I have to wear it from time to time. This is partly because I like neroli and partly because I always like old-fashioned perfumes anyway. The tart, citrusy beginning and the slightly sweet finish just harmonize so well for me. In winter I tended to just spray it on my towels, but now in summer I'll definitely spray it on more often despite its miserable longevity. Then I'll have the vibe of grandma sunbathing in a deckchair under a lemon tree at the touch of a button.

PS: I don't know if this is relevant for anyone, but I added a few sprays of my El Nabil Music Blanc to the cologne (I decanted the 4711 bulk bottle haha), and it goes really well together and extends the shelf life immensely! I'm sure it also works with another perfume that goes in the clean and slightly tart direction!
