Hot tango, rose and leather. Oh yes.
I like leather in all its forms. The relationship with rose is much less clear, and usually more of a no than a yes. (That's why I'm always all the happier when I come across a perfume with rose that grabs me).
The rose-leather duo, which is anything but original, has never yet managed to win me over.
It's different here. A leather-rose pairing, absolutely perfectly timed down to the millisecond. And there's nothing else - just rose and just leather. And I don't miss anything.
And: the rose here is so relaxed and rounded that I enjoy wearing and smelling this fragrance even in the heat - while all my other leather favorites have gone into hibernation.
I find the longevity to be above average, even among the Montales, of which I already own several: I entered my office after 5 days of vacation and immediately smelled the Arabians Rose Leather.
Speaking of Arabians. This fragrance is absolutely not Arabic or oriental for me. Rather very European. Could be from Armani Privee ;)
P.S. You have to give it a second chance. The first time I smelled it, I had the impulse to sell it quickly and I posted the sample at the souk. Luckily no one bought it so quickly, otherwise I would have missed out on this love. Thank you for that ! :))

Pure good humor
I've owned my Oud Sapparot for about a week and since then I've felt like nothing else in my everyday life.
This is the first thing my hand reaches for after showering in the morning. I spray it really generously on the back of my neck along the hairline, on the back of my knees and the crooks of my arms and this pleasurable and uncontrolled Mmmmmh escapes me, coupled with the statement "I'm in a good mood"
I'm a Montale fan anyway, among other things I'm fascinated by the way Montale manages to create fruity fragrances. If I were to smell this fragrance with my eyes closed, I wouldn't have doubted for a second that I was sniffing a pineapple juice (or liqueur).
I don't perceive oud directly. If anyone is "afraid" of oud - don't worry, it's not present here, but it does make the pineapple sound less straightforward.
I also don't notice other notes (leather, saffron, cinnamon). However, I think they also ensure that the pineapple is perfectly showcased.
In my opinion, this is a mono fragrance: pineapple.
However, pineapple doesn't sound creamy or particularly gourmand - but for me it's just right, as I don't like very clear gourmand notes (often caramel or chocolate).
My conclusion: I would never want to be without this fruity, feel-good pick-me-up before a day at work in summer.
I smell it on me for several hours, but I also like to refresh it every few hours. I think you can't overdo it with this fragrance, for me it's a bit like a very classy deodorant, you don't seem "perfumed" but rather fruity and fresh.
The (classic) Montale bottle underlines this perception.

The better and sweeter "Rose Musk"
The base of the fragrance is unmistakably exactly the same as that of Rose Musk, which is why these scents are obviously similar, at least for me
The only thing that bothered me about Rose Musk: the top note is far too green for me, it's more the cut green stem than the rose - that's no longer the case here in Dallachai, everything is sweet and round in the top notes.
It seems to me that Rose Musk has been developed, not to say corrected, exactly to my taste and I am thrilled.
Dallachai is a good and very well composed fragrance, fruity and sweet. An incredibly tender musky base, with a summery fruity sweetness and that certain something that gives it the coffee note. A wake-up call in Montalician style.
The rating (currently 6.0) is incomprehensible to me.
Don't let this put you off and try Dallachai, especially if you find Rose Musk good and interesting.
The shelf life is good.
Sillage is average.

A sip of vacation and freshness
In part, I understand why this fragrance was not rated quite so highly: It's not a complex masterpiece of perfumery.
But: this fragrance is magical and it does something magical to me.
One spray of it immediately transfers me to some childish vacation. This fruity freshness. What is that? Did we spill this pear lemonade as children? .. I think it was called Duchesse and was the only lemonade made in the fatherland. Or is it that water fruit ice cream, that queue at the ice cream parlor in Italy, camping in Bibione?
This scent brings a smile to my face, it puts me in such a happy, even euphoric mood...
I literally douse myself in it when my husband and I set off for a long walk (or hike) on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday morning...
I think that when we invest our money in perfumery, we are ultimately buying positive feelings. Better: we hope for it.
If that's the case, then this fragrance is worth every penny to me.
Longevity is unfortunately not so good, but that's kind of ok, it's a perfume to "shower" in :)

Doesn't come close to "Cruda" by Morph!
Because of the alleged similarity, I tried Oajan as a potential replacement for "Cruda" Morph (Morph is hardly available in Germany anymore).
The result is sobering: Oajan doesn't even come close to Cruda, both in terms of fragrance and intensity.
Very briefly, I smelled a little sweetness and cinnamon, much simpler and more mainstream than Cruda.
After just about 20 minutes I smell nothing, while Cruda was still getting compliments after 10 hours of wear. So H/S very weak.
In my opinion, an overrated fragrance with a sound that does not do justice to the niche.
