Totally under the radar!
First of all, I have to say that this is my second fragrance from the brand. I started with Liquide Gold, which has received a lot of hype in recent months. That's not what this is about. But when I buy a second fragrance from a brand, that speaks for itself.

In my opinion, Desert Suave comes off far too badly in the reviews. Neither a headache nor a total overload of ingredients.
What you need to have for the fragrance, however, is a preference for sweet scents (not necessarily gourmands)

The fragrance starts off spicy (cradamon), tangy and already sweet (definitely date) in the top note. I was overwhelmed the first time I smelled it. The sweetness pervades the whole perfume. It's not sticky sweet, I would say, but high-quality sweet, which is possibly due to the rose note and the beautiful, strongly present orange blossom note. I also smell cinnamon, but also a tart, green note in the background. For me, the fragrance is not particularly varied - it doesn't have to be. This perfume is a must-try for lovers of oriental fragrances. I also find it challenging in parts, as the mixture of components makes it smell "old". Not old, but smoky and mature, like a whiskey.

The sillage is a real bomb with this fragrance. Comparable to fragrances that are much! expensive in the nishe range. The same applies to the durability. It can be smelled on the skin and on clothing for a very, very long time.

I have tried it in everyday life but also on occasions in the evening. What can I say... It's too opulent for everyday wear (especially in the warmer months, even in spring). However, it shines on very cold days and in the evening (even on a warm summer evening). This fragrance simply makes you smell serious and chic. I use it for festive occasions and going out as well as for important appointments.

Compliments: many... Negative feedback: zero.

So try it out when you get the chance. It's different from what you read here in many places.

Don't be misled by first impressions
It's hard to avoid Liquide Gold at the moment. On this occasion, I decided to test this fragrance and went to my trusted perfumery.
I initially found the scent on the fragrance strip outstanding. Rather sweet, floral and a hint of sour fruitiness. In fact, I was so overwhelmed by the uniqueness of this fragrance that I had to buy it
So I decided to buy it and wanted to use it the next day. However, the sharp, tangy top note kept making me sneeze. I could therefore also understand the parallel with the One Million fragrance. This fragrance also always makes me sneeze. I didn't dare to wear this fragrance extensively for a week - which was a mistake in hindsight.
So I decided to take the risk and spread a good 8 spritzes along my neck. The top note still takes some getting used to: slightly pungent, very sharp and floral for me.
The development of this fragrance, however, leaves me speechless. It develops into a sweet fragrance that is almost a little gourmand. In my opinion, this scent is comparable to cookie dough. However, it never loses its floral note. I am not at all fond of floral fragrances - this fragrance has proved me wrong.
The scent is also creamy, similar to sun cream (which I also hate the smell of) with an orange note.
Apparently, the fragrance has everything I don't like and still turns out to be my new favorite in my collection.
I only understand the association with hospitals in the first few minutes of the fragrance. After that, it is as pleasant as only a few fragrances I know.
I am also impressed by the durability. I have to spray it on once in the evening if I want the night to be long. However, this is the case for me with almost every fragrance.
The bottle is an absolute 10/10 for me. I think it looks great in any collection.
I've been wearing this fragrance for almost 2 weeks in a row in everyday life and in the evening when I go out. It is so versatile and unique.
I have rarely smelled something so complex.
Try it out! It will be worth it for many.

Likeable like a designer, deep like a Nishe fragrance
The fragrance Salem from Anfas is the fragrance for me if you want to smell unobtrusive, harmonious and yet strikingly good.
It takes just a few sprays and the fresh notes of lemon and mandarin immediately unfold, embedded in the powdery musk note. Later on, it becomes distinctly woody, but never loses its freshness and sweetness.
I can see this fragrance on both a woman and a man.
It also lasts a very long time and harmonizes well with the heat in summer and the cold in winter. Just a fragrance for the whole year.
In my opinion, this was the best introductory fragrance to familiarize myself with the brand.
A clear candidate for a blind buy, despite the price.

The scent for the tide.
The title of this review leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I would like to provide clarity....
Almost exactly a year ago, I decided to take a vacation to Germany's Baltic coast. And as if it was meant to be, I decided to buy this fragrance just before the vacation. I sprayed it on and was initially overwhelmed by the scent. It reminded me of cough syrup at first, but quickly became softer and deeper. I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do with it.
I sprayed it on the first day of my vacation and what can I say... a heavy tide warning was forecast for that day and the wind was whistling strongly, which harmonized well with the opening of lemon in this perfume. It was a very cold day and this scent made me feel a warmth that I needed that day.
It lasted from morning to late evening and warmed with woody notes, incense as well as the note of myrrh.
I would only wear it especially on days like this and it will always remind me of this vacation.
