From baklava to mandelbroyt
Smelled this as my wife was exploring the fragrance in a Perfumery. It started off as a photorealistic baklava. As it dried down and the almond came out more, making the fragrance more reminiscent of mandelbroyt (for those unfamiliar, it is similar to biscotti). Very delicious smelling, but not a fragrance for either of us.

An enjoyable fougere
I've had "Fougère Nobile | Nobile 1942" in my collection for about a year. I came across it when I was looking for samples to try and the bottle stood out. Once I received the sample I decided to make the purchase. In the U.S. it is available from discounters so you can save some money when making your purchase.

The scent comes across linear. Having this early in my fragrance journey I found it interesting how certain notes were perceptible to my nose, especially the lavender and tobacco notes. I also picked up a shaving cream accord. Underlying this was the black pepper.

The fragrance lasts 8-12 hours on my skin. It's not very loud; sillage is maybe arms length. It's office friendly; you can wear this in a professional setting. That said, it can easily be worn casually, dressed up or down. If you're looking for compliments this is not the fragrance that will attract attention; if you're looking for clean, versatile fragrance Fougere Nobile may be what you're looking for. Though described as unisex, to me it leans more masculine.

At this point I am about half-way through the 75ml bottle. When finished, I'm sure I'll purchase a new bottle to keep this in my collection.
