What does Spiderman actually smell like? Superhero or nerd?
This is the only perfume in my / our collection, where the smell is not so important to me!

And why is that so?

Since I have discovered this new hobby for me, flacons and especially all kinds of Pröbchen collect in the bathroom cabinet.
Of course, this has not escaped my family and so it comes to the fact that my son likes to smell samples and test perfumes with me every day:)
As luck would have it, I saw the Spiderman bottle in the drugstore and took this for the 6th birthday of my son directly.
He was totally happy and is so proud that he now has his own perfume in the perfume cabinet.
And there it is also first of all secondary how this perfume smells :)

Lucky for all that this fragrance actually does not smell so bad.

So what does it smell like? Like spiderman or like peter parker?
citrusy , fresh, sweet, sythetic. Individual fragrance notes can be here for me actually difficult to smell out.
All in all, a citrusy, fresh opening, which then becomes sweeter and more sythetic in the drydown.
Can already imagine Peter Parker reaching for a cheap, pleasing scent. A superhero smells different for me, but since he probably has no time to change the perfume when he is just needed somewhere, he will also smell as Spidey :D

My son commented on it with, "mmhhh, yummy, smells like lemon." :)
And he's actually honest with his opinion too, because he's left the bathroom in a jiffy more than once when something "special" was being tested.

From me there is a clear purchase recommendation for all parents who want to buy their children a first perfume :)

Love
Sebastian

Spring lets its blue ribbon flutter again through the air...
Spring lets its blue ribbon
Fluttering through the air again
Sweet, familiar scents
Streak forebodingly the land.
(Eduard Mörike)

Yes, I had to google that lyric since I don't know any poems by heart
But a spring poem goes so wonderfully with this lovely, bright, wonderful fragrance.
Now that the cold has given way to the first warm sunny days, I have fortunately discovered this absolutely fitting fragrance.

When spraying on, images of an awakening spring immediately come to mind. The first flowers are forming, the birds chirping and the low morning sun warms the face.
The scent itself starts right off with the smell of a fig tree. Not as sweet as the fruit itself, but actually the smell The Tree gives off.
We have a large fig tree in our backyard and when you prune it early in the year, you have this smell of fig wood in your nose, which this fragrance captures excellently.
When you pick an unripe fig fruit from the tree, a white sap comes out that also smells like this.
So to me, the smell reminds me of my own garden and spring, making it one of my favorites.

The whole thing is underpinned by the maritime notes indicated in the fragrance pyramid.
What that is exactly, I can not say, but it gives the whole a nice freshness and lets the fig not too sweet.
The scent remains largely the same and changes only minimally.
The freshness wears off over time and the light fig scent remains.

Unfortunately, the fragrance does not really last long and is only slightly perceptible after 5-6 hours. Maybe it's because it's really light and smells so naturally fresh that you no longer perceive it so strongly yourself.

For me personally a beautiful fragrance that makes you want to spring and fits perfectly in the spring or early summer, when it is still a little fresh in the morning and then later warming midday sun comes out.
Totally Unisex. For me right in the middle and neither too feminine nor too masculine.
Sample is empty and replenishment ordered. Because the belongs in any case in my collection.

Walk in the forest after the sauna in autumn
Imagine it's autumn. You sit in the sauna with a fresh, herbaceous sauna infusion
The third round of the infusion is rung and you sit of course at the top. If not here, where else, the man separates from the sissy *laughs*
The body aches from the heat and breathing is difficult. The sauna master opens the door and you can finally get some fresh air and pretend that the heat didn't bother you.
Quickly a dive in the ice-cold water and purely in the warming bathrobe.
Cool, fresh air rushes into your lungs and you feel good.
Now you put on a thick sweater and walk through a cool coniferous forest. Damp moss, fresh herbs and the smell of the forest you perceive after the sauna much more intense than you imagined.
You take a break and drink a warming tea and enjoy the nature.

"You think this story is true? I'm sorry to disappoint you. It's fictional."
Yours Jonathan Frakes

A pity, really, because that's exactly what I was thinking when I first noticed Oud Wood intensely.
"Siri, show me saunas near coniferous forests!"
I think it's time for me to recreate this story 1:1.

Much has already been written about the scent itself, and the scent pyramid fits to some extent.
When I applied Oud Wood for the first time, I actually expected something quite different.
I had expected something oriental, animalic and got a woody, herbaceous, pleasant freshness.
I am not an expert in smelling out individual fragrance components. I can only describe what it smells like. The freshness wears off over time and the woody, warmer components remain.
The durability is actually not as long as expected, however, it is also because the freshness of the top note fades but the base, at least close to the skin, remains long. I personally find that very pleasant.

Nomen est omen? Came for the name, stayed for the scent
Marketing-wise, a direct hit. Everyone wants to smell times, which is supposedly so fucking fabulous.
So, and not otherwise I also came to this fragrance.

Not too long ago, Chanel Allure Homme Sport was the only bottle in my closet and I was happy smelling fresh with it for years. In search of a new fragrance and due to the lockdown no opportunity to test in perfumeries, I came across Parfumo and the Souk. Great for the nose bad for the wallet :D
Among many, many samples, one of the first was of course Fucking Fabulous. I just had to smell the name.

My sporty-fresh nose was completely surprised at the first smell. Quite different than I had imagined, because under the notes in the description I could not imagine much at the time.
First he came to me actually something too feminine over, since I was used to only fresh fragrances with me.
After many more samples, however, I always came back to this fragrance and often just sniffed the sample. There's something about this fragrance that makes me want to smell it again and again. Maybe it's the fact that this was the first fragrance that was completely different for me.

Meanwhile, I have also tested some other sweet-spicy fragrances of various brands and look forward to many more but Fucking Fabulous will probably always remain one of the favorites.

The fragrance itself opens to me directly with a creamy bitter almond, which also accompanies the fragrance all the time. In addition, aromas of vanilla and tonka beans join. All in all, a great, creamy spicy mix, which disturbs me in any situation and is simply delicious :)
For me, he is indeed "Fucking Fabulous"

Currently I try a lot and have no real signature scent. But FF has certainly potential to become it.

Best regards
