If you want to acquire Red Evening, you need to keep two things in mind. First: The combination of Oud and Rose is not reinventing the wheel. Of course, the fragrance is synthetic at this price and not a finely tuned scent. Second: The fragrance always tries to make a statement.
I think this scent will appeal to a large part of the population. People I know who are absolute Oud opponents found this fragrance not bad on me. The Oud note in this fragrance has no animalistic character. It is meant to appeal to the masses, but also to capture the idea of an oriental fragrance direction. This makes the scent outstanding for €40. I could still perceive it 15 hours after the first wear, even after a shower in between. In my opinion, the fragrance is of the type: less is more. I can imagine that overspraying the scent could become very annoying. Nevertheless, you should definitely test this fragrance if you are interested in this fragrance direction. In general, I can appreciate Massimo Dutti a lot. The scents I have been able to test from them have either impressed me in creativity or, like this one, in longevity.

When you delve deeply into perfume, there's no way around Roberto Ugolini. The 17 Rosso spoke to me the most. After I quickly finished a sample of it, it became clear that I had to own this scent.
First, about the bottle and the packaging. The packaging looks very elegant from the outside. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the "silk bed" on which the bottle rests. Instead, the bottle was simply set in a black plastic rectangle. While that's a pity, it doesn't really bother me much. The bottle itself is very beautifully and elegantly designed. The sparkling dark red looks very sophisticated. Personally, I don't find the cap very attractive, but it is relatively heavy and thus feels high-quality. The spray head is not particularly impressive, but it serves its purpose well.
I perceive the scent itself as very floral. The rose is clearly noticeable. I also find the peach to be very present. This combination runs through the entire scent progression for me. The fragrance is very versatile. It will never be unpleasantly noticeable. The sillage is definitely strong, though I imagined it to be stronger. After about 3 hours, I could no longer perceive the scent myself, unless I smelled my clothing. There, the scent lasted for days. However, it could also be that I simply got used to the scent too quickly.

I find the scent itself really good. The metallic note in the fragrance appeals to me a lot, and overall the scent doesn’t come off as too overpowering if you don’t overdo it when applying. Still, I wear the fragrance very little, especially because it is widely used by people who just want to "smell good for a moment." There’s nothing wrong with that, but personally, I’m a big fan of scents that have a high recognition value. Anyone who buys this fragrance won’t go wrong, but they also won’t take any risks and it’s not super original.

When applying the fragrance, I was quite ambivalent. I generally liked the scent very much and it was very present. However, the leather was so prominent that I couldn't decide whether I liked the fragrance or not. Nevertheless, this scent has once again shown me how much I enjoy iris. Regardless of the scent, the quality is, in my opinion, undeniable. I had sprayed the fragrance on my wrist and could still clearly perceive it hours later, even though I hadn't brought my wrist to my nose. I was quite startled when I woke up the next morning just before the alarm went off, due to the scent, because my wrist was in close proximity to my nose.

When I first smelled the fragrance on a test strip, I was almost shocked. It was hard for me to categorize the actually very beautiful fruity top note in combination with a very milky scent.
On the skin, the fragrance was definitely quite different from the strip (which is logical). I wore the fragrance to work and was able to perceive it throughout the entire workday. What I also noticed was that the scent contributed immensely to improving my mood, and partly that of my colleagues :D. The fruity notes radiated a certain positivity that is hard to put into words. The oud was also very beautiful and present, and even though the milky note is still not my favorite, it was noticeably different from what I experienced on the test strip.
