Summery Frankincense
We usually find frankincense in cold weather perfume. For the frankincense lover, it is not easy to find this ingredient in the hot summery scent.
Aesop Hwyl give you the perfect combination of wood, frankincense and vetiver. It is light enough to use in summer or spring. (It also performed decently in the fall and winter too.)
This scent reminds me about calmness and relaxedness I had got from Thai massage spa, so I can use this juice easily in the hot and humid weather.
It is very suitable for the weekend or vacation. It gives me the sense of “FREE TIME”. I like to use this scent on my holidays to sooth myself. The best situation to use this juice is the holiday on the beach with a good book on my right hand and a glass of chilled beer on my left hand. It can make my perfect holiday to be more perfect.
It may not be a crowd pleaser. It is a scent you use mainly to please yourself
It is not so loud, fortunately It can live on your skin at least for 6-8 hours.

Aventus for the office time
This younger brother is softer, less smoky and not as loud as the original.
Fortunately, the DNA of the aventus fully remains in this boy.
It opens with the juicy fruity scents and dry down with the realistic wood and vetiver.
It is suitable for day time in both business and casual occasions.
This scent gives you the image of a young nice guy. Clean, polite with enthusiastic feeling inside you. In the contrary, the original give you the sense of more experienced and more sophisticated.

Manly sweet scent
At the first sniff, Amyris homme gives me a sense of sweetness and a little hint of freshness of citrous and floral. As an old school man, I usually avoid the sweet scents, and in my opinion Amyris homme is far too sweet for my taste, but after a while I change my mind.
I tried it at MFK shop. Immediately after first sniffed from the testing paper, I told the shopping assistance that " It's far too sweet and it is not my type". I kept the testing paper and came home. On the way home I cannot stop to sniff that testing paper. I sniffed it again and again. After a while I admitted to myself that "I love this kind of sweetness".
I don't know how Mr. Kurkdjian blend this scent. It is very sweet but in the good masculine way. I can feel that it is the scents of the luxury but easy to wear. I can imagine about a successful kind man. I can imagine about a man who had more than enough and try to give more than to earn more.
Next day I returned to buy this juice. I used it very often as my signature scents. It is very versatile, I mainly used it in office time and with 2 more sprays it can be used for evening events too.
The longevity of this scent is about 6-8 hours, not bad for EDT version. Suitable for summer and spring. Worth for your money.

Manly rose
I came to MFK shop for the other fragrance, but I came home with L' Homme A la rose!!!
The shop assistance insisted me to give it a try. As an old school man, I didn't think the roses suitable for the man. But after the first sniff, I changed my mind.
It opens with the roses and fruity note. Yes, it's sweet. But it is not too sweet and absolutely no cloying sweetness in this juice. The amber wood gives this juice the masculine scents and calm down the sweetness.
This scent is quite linear. After first 5 minutes the scents doesn't change until it fades away. This scent is simple, easy to understand and very easy to wear. In my opinion the simplicity of this fragrance is the strong point. The longevity is the other strong point. I wear it at 7 am and it is still on cloths at 7 pm.
Someone told me that the rose in this juice is so synthetics. In my opinion, I can notice a little sense of synthetics only when I sniff very closed. I cannot detect the synthetics sense on the sillage around me.
