I think it’s very good. I don't think there should be this much hate towards the new DHP. It’s a business at the end of the day. Sales are more important than feelings. But I understand why there is hate. I think if this was released under a different name it would be valued much higher. I did a performance test, i sprayed new DHP on my wrist 24hours ago. I also sprayed on my other wrist Dior homme intense 21 hours ago. I can still smell both of them BUT, new DHP smells stronger. In my opinion I would say performance is beast mode because of this. This is also unbiased because I have never even smelled old DHP and I don’t own any Dior besides Sauvage. I imagine projection is great as well based on longevity. I also would like to just restate that I understand the hate, Dior should not have named this cologne Dior Homme Parfum. I hope it was regulations that caused this change instead of it being a money grab. Anyway I think it’s amazing. I’m getting a bottle for sure.

Edit: I just read that Old DHP sales were poor.

This is like a fun artistic frag but I couldn't wear it everyday. Its too sweet, more so than the elixir. Even the elixer I get sick of because of its sweetness. But Ultra male is on another level. I would say its more suited for guys under the age of 27. I think most people would get tired of it if its in a collection less than 3 or 4 colognes. This is something you buy if your deep in the hobby already. I would say get something more versatile.

Definitely need to wait for the dry down before making a decision on this one. After an hour the top notes are gone and you’re left with a different smell that you might not like. I love the opening but dislike the dry down. It becomes a dull fragrance after hour. Also very soft sillage for me. I don’t think this is worth the money at all. There’s just more frags out there that are going to be better. Also this gives me some niche as I believe not many people will like this or they’ll think it smells “ok” at best.

This was very disappointing. I think this is a lot of marketing towards teens. This to me smells like a very good fabric softener, Tide detergent, fresh out the laundry smell. Not really sweet like ysl y or jean Paul, or Invictus. It smells like a soap. I would buy a $3 sample to try rather than blind buying. But its not too expensive so you can learn the hard way too if you want.

I got this for my girlfriend and she loves it. It's a great fragrance that she wears in warm weather. It is unique as most perfumes are not so much aquatic fresh citrus smelling. Sprayed it twice in the air to test it in a large room. I came back 3 hours later and could still smell it strongly filling the room. I would highly recommend it for summer.
