Super Sweet Opening!

I am not a person that has embraced the gourmand trend. I don't even enjoy vanilla in my fragrances. So, for me, the opening of Aqua di Gioia was eye-wateringly sweet. As it settles and the nose becomes more adjusted, the citrus and cedar picks up a bit and I can see this fragrance suiting both sexes.

The floral aspect is not too obnoxious, but it is obvious. It's overall a fresh scent with quite a bit of power.

Still too sweet for my preferences, so I may end up giving my miniature away.

Better than original

I got this for my girlfriend and she loves it. It's a great fragrance that she wears in warm weather. It is unique as most perfumes are not so much aquatic fresh citrus smelling. Sprayed it twice in the air to test it in a large room. I came back 3 hours later and could still smell it strongly filling the room. I would highly recommend it for summer.

This Fragrance Needed The Berries

The red berry addition to Acqua di Gioia really round it out. I'm bored by the original but I love this one. It's like having a few crushed berries in your lemonade - it's a whole other drink. If you're looking for a freshie, this is a good one. I have too many to justify the purchase but I will always recommend this one!

Sweet, fresh, and clean!

To my nose, this smells so similar to Rose & Rose by Issey Miyake! Acqua is less syrupy raspberry and more sweet mixed berries, but the clean rose note is near exact.

As far as fragrance profiles go, I love clean citrusy aquatics and I also love soft woody roses and this is a beautiful combination of my favorites! It’s the type of fruity fresh where you can’t pick out fruit directly, but get fresh shampoo vibes instead. The first thing it reminds me of is Dylan Blue Pour Femme, (they don't smell the same but the clean fruity experience feels the same) but instead of green apple, it is serving red berries.

I have the original Acqua di Gioia and in comparison that one is thinner, more masculine leaning, and of course has mint. The Intense is definitely more floral but not bouquet or flower shop floral, it’s more a single rose in a crystal vase type of floral.

Lasts a decent 6-8 hours with a high moderate scent bubble. It’s still just an EDP and I believe intense is referring to the general fragrance profile being more intense, not the performance.

Anyway. I love it.

The original loved, Intense takes it up a notch

After I finished the 100 ml of the predecessor, my boyfriend surprised me with the new Intense version of Acqua di Gioia. With this fragrance, you can easily go to the office and receive a ton of compliments. Fresh, zesty, and a perfect blend of citrus and rose. In the Intense version, you can even detect a hint of watermelon. Sillage is much better, now it lasts all day. Recommendation!

A small point of criticism: The bottle, which is indeed very beautiful, but unfortunately way too big for my hand - it almost slips out of my hand sometimes.
