Super Sweet Opening!

I am not a person that has embraced the gourmand trend. I don't even enjoy vanilla in my fragrances. So, for me, the opening of Aqua di Gioia was eye-wateringly sweet. As it settles and the nose becomes more adjusted, the citrus and cedar picks up a bit and I can see this fragrance suiting both sexes.

The floral aspect is not too obnoxious, but it is obvious. It's overall a fresh scent with quite a bit of power.

Still too sweet for my preferences, so I may end up giving my miniature away.

Better than original

I got this for my girlfriend and she loves it. It's a great fragrance that she wears in warm weather. It is unique as most perfumes are not so much aquatic fresh citrus smelling. Sprayed it twice in the air to test it in a large room. I came back 3 hours later and could still smell it strongly filling the room. I would highly recommend it for summer.

This Fragrance Needed The Berries

The red berry addition to Acqua di Gioia really round it out. I'm bored by the original but I love this one. It's like having a few crushed berries in your lemonade - it's a whole other drink. If you're looking for a freshie, this is a good one. I have too many to justify the purchase but I will always recommend this one!

Loved the original, Intense goes one better

After I finished the 100 ml of the previous fragrance, my boyfriend surprised me with the new Intense version of Acqua di Gioia. You can easily go to the office with this fragrance and get lots of compliments. Fresh, sparkling and a perfect blend of citrus and rose. In the Intense version, you can even smell something along the lines of watermelon. H/S is much better, now it lasts all day. Recommendation!

Small point of criticism: The bottle, which is really beautiful, but unfortunately much too big for my hand - sometimes it almost falls out of my hand.

Italian summer

First of all, Aqua di gioa made me feel rather nauseous, almost nauseous...I can't explain it, cold, stale peppermint tea with brown sugar stirred in. No aqua, no freshie...just gone. As you know, I'm not a fan of winter fragrances, okay there are two exceptions but before I digress, I do need a vacation evasion fragrance, it's difficult with 21 days as I'm one of those people who use a different perfume every day...but you get the idea. Let's test the Intense version...At first I actually find this minty note much nicer, probably due to the jasmine...not this Wrigley's Spearmint note...although mint is not listed. The Intense is really a nice clean scent but not in the sense of clean! You just want to take a deep drag before you dive into the Italian blue, no cold synthetics with a metallic note, as some aquatics unfortunately have. Jasmine, a beautiful citrus, a hint of rose, an independent fragrance, no comparison to the "original" Aqua di gioa. If we have a hot summer ahead of us, you won't get caught in the crowd (office, bus and train) with this candidate. Laugh, I would try to get close to the wearer. Oh dear, it's already in my collection.
