worse version of the edp
i know the answer is money, but i will never truly understand why flankers are made when they don't smell distinct from each other. i think edt & edp are similar, more so than edp & intense which at least has a vanilla note. edt also performs worse than both as i only get ~4 hours out of it & it turns into a skin scent halfway through. as of writing this, i have yet to try all the flankers (le parfum is on my list), but so far edp is still the clear winner.
fresh & boozy
this was love at first sniff when i tried the tester at sephora, but i wanted to wait until the weather got colder to finally test it out, & here i am now. it smells like apple & rum, very fresh, a little fruity but not too sweet, & definitely boozy. it also leans a bit masculine, but i don't personally mind. i got 9-10 hours out of it; the only bad thing about it is the projection is weak for it being so expensive (gotta sit next to me to smell). definitely getting a travel size/decant!
another generic sweet floral
i will give poison girl edt credit for being the only poison i like so far (hypnotic poison smells like root beer, poison smells like burnt berries, & pure poison smells like dryer sheets), but i already have enough sweet florals in my collection to justify getting this one. more disappointingly, it becomes a skin scent 3 hours in, & i've had other edt, & even edc, that performs better than that. guess i'll see what poison edp has to offer!
smells like og libre but with more vanilla
libre intense smells similar except that they've added vanilla, & i personally think the lavender + vanilla is a bit too overwhelming for me. og libre is heavy on the lavender, which makes it more fresh, so i prefer this one. if you don't have a problem with the addition of vanilla, then libre & libre intense are too similar to justify having both, especially since they also perform the same.
more "safe" than black orchid but also more generic
i might just not be into the honey + orchid combination because it just doesn't do anything for me. velvet orchid smells like pretty much any "dark floral" out there. what's worse is that i don't get the longevity that others do: it disappears after a couple hours on me. black orchid may be polarizing, but the reason i own that one is because of its interesting scent profile (spicy truffle + vanilla) and its stellar performance.
