This smells like no other perfume I have smelled.
Would I wear it everyday? Perhaps but only layered with something else. It smells like rain in the night, there is a sadness in this perfume that I find bittersweet. The gunpowder comes and it feels like you are alone walking in the dark on the cold concrete. It smells lonely but resilient to me. A masterpiece. Projection is insane
Ambra aurea
My winter signature scent. Ambra aurea is warm yet dark, it seems sweet but sometimes salty from the ambergris. It’s a dark, mysterious amber, unlike ambre chromatique for example. Ambra aurea is truly high quality, and worthy of the niche market. No other amber truly smells like it. If you are an amber fan this is a perfume that should be in your collection
Gioiosa
As a big fan of Profumum, I blind bought this one. I was extremely underwhelmed. It smells generic. Of course it smells lactonic and sweet and not in a cotton candy way, but for profumum this is disappointing. There is a musky/fresh smell in he drydown, which again is underwhelming. Star by mauboussin which costs about 35$ smells the same.
