The most beautiful Puma cage
I love it to stroll in the city, to look a little bit here, to look a little bit there - who knows what falls so unexpectedly in front of your feet. There is one constant: a side trip into a perfumery. This visit is as firmly anchored as the Amen in the Bible. I like to test and see what's new. It is not uncommon for fragrances to be tested, although it is well known how the fragrance smells, because you have tried it dozens of times. Do I hope for an "aha" effect?! I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Nevertheless, it is fun - and that is the main thing.

At some point, one of those days again, where you float almost thoughtlessly through the city, I naturally floated straight into a Douglas branch I didn't know at the time. Surprised by the fact that the assortment for niche fragrances was extremely lavish, which - except for niche topsellers - is not usual, I jumped at the fragrances as if from my senses. According to my girlfriend, the poor salesgirl barely followed. At some point she capitulated and just smiled friendly as a reaction to every bottle I brought along. Everything was there, Creeds, Atkinsons, Aqua di Parmas, Tom Fords and so on. My girlfriend just hung her nose over the coffee bean pot and got an annoyed headache at some point.

But there was one thing that both she and I kept in mind: Oud Wood from Tom Ford. I found it all the more striking, in such a form that it was almost too unpleasant for me. My girlfriend gave it away as "the smell of a puma cage." Too harsh, too strong, she didn't like. The milder Aqua di Parma were more popular. I had completely forgotten in all this intoxication that I had ordered samples home, including TF Oud Wood, but only marginally. After 1.5 hours we left the branch again. Result: My girlfriend with Mon Guerlain in her luggage and me without.

Days later the handful of samples arrived, which I then tested peu a peu peu. Oud Wood was the first sample and after I applied it, the other fragrances were completely the same to me. I felt like I knew this scent, but I didn't know it. Completely different from the drugstore before. This scent so knocked me off my socks that I asked myself the serious question, why I had agreed with my girlfriend with the cougar in the cage?! The scent that I then had on my skin smelled incredibly warm, so inimitably distinctive, but soft at the same time. He's not hiding, he's present, but in an absolutely discreet way. I knew immediately that this fragrance would be obligatory at any cost. I was in love with that scent from the point of view.

Of course, I couldn't resist wearing it in front of my girlfriend. She sees me, she embraces me, she sniffs, she walks half a step away from me, she looks at me, one eyebrow up, the other down, sniffs the air around her, "what is that?... the puma cage?". I nod at her with a grin, she sniffs again, "he smells really good". Of course I am! Of course it smells good! Promptly I took the 30ml and know that every cent is well invested with this smell. For me the most beautiful smell of a puma cage!

Thank Jeremy ...
I certainly have my "difficulties" when it comes to buying valuables where I am not sure whether I will like it. When it comes to clothes such as trousers or shoes, you already know visually what you are getting. Mostly it doesn't fail because I don't like it or not, but because it doesn't fit in terms of size - the disadvantage of online shopping.

With fragrances this proves to be much more difficult - if you are not standing in a boutique. The flacons all look pretty and inviting, the waters partly in different colours (if obvious). Nevertheless, one does not know - and that is what ultimately matters - whether the content is appealing. Some people will recognize themselves here when it comes to having regretted a blindbuy.

All the greater is the joy when the bottle is unpacked and can be booked as a complete success. Because I count myself among those who bought this fragrance blind. Jeremy (yes, I look at his contributions from time to time) praised him a few times in his videos. I stumbled across this scent when I wanted to get reviews and impressions about Dior's Sauvage and the differences between the EdP and the EdT. Instead it was called "Aqva Amara here, Aqva Amara there", "Mad smell, like the ocean etc." Now one thinks, if someone raves so about a smell, which also seems to have a hunch about it ( the success proves him right ) the perfume must be the true hit. So: Bagged.

A few words about the fragrance: When I unpacked it and tested it first, I was not sure if I shared Jeremy's opinion or not. Gave in the beginning neatly on the 12, both from the smell, and from the atomizer - which is really not prissy. This one feels like a good pound to the neck, accompanied by the extremely smoky fresh(?) for me. I haven't smelled it before. Rarity value is present. With time it subsided a bit and became very pleasant. Do not misunderstand, even the beginning was not bad, but rather needs getting used to. 7 - 9 h later I heard him still well at me. As another user already wrote, he can be smelled much longer on his clothes. The bottle itself... Well, unusual to a little pragmatic. Are there flacons that are easier to handle, let's say so? I already lost a word about the atomizer.

But nevertheless: If you like fresh paired with a certain spice, you won't be disappointed with this fragrance. Should he really be hired, fast action is required - No, I am not paid by Bvlgari to do advertising ;)

Watch your step! Chief's coming!
My first comment, and it probably doesn't tear out positive trees....

Our boss doesn't show up too often. Maximum 2x a week. Busy man. At first he often stood in front of us in a surprising way. Silently and inconspicuously appeared, almost like a ninja. So he disappeared a few minutes later. These times have changed because he has apparently discovered a scent for himself that works like an early warning system for us. At the beginning he only left a pile of Sillage - sometimes for minutes, although he was no longer present. If he enters the room he left before, there is first of all a greeting with a bat of smelling baseball. Often the question was "poah, did he shower in his perfume again today?" By now you know he's coming before you see him. The smell's in your nose before you can tell it's there. With the scent he would have been a bad ninja back then...

The joke is that at first I didn't know what kind of scent it was - the others didn't anyway, because they don't deal with scents. A) nobody dared to tell him that he should please use a little less of his perfume and b) especially I didn't want to ask what he uses - I'll call it discretion.

Some time later: I ordered a handful of bottlings - ignorant of how I am. Predominantly from Parfums de Marly. The Layton was really extraordinary, I liked it very much and hoped for more good scents. Godolphin was one of the candidates, Herod also joined in, Aventus von Creed was also allowed to take a seat. Two Tom Ford fragrances were also there, Oud Wood and Tobacco Vanilla.

But of course one of them was not to be missed: Pegasus. And he came with timpani and trumpets and played a whole orchestra on his own. I had this scent in my nose the whole time, with an almost insurmountable and not to be ignored penetrance. Suddenly I had a big aha effect. "Damn, you know that smell. Oh dear, you know this scent only too well!". Alarm lights went off, as with the said early warning system.

To get back to my boss: I think or no, I know by now that he certainly won't start tomorrow by beheading hundreds of bottles, tipping them into the tub and then bathing in them. This scent is just like that.

But what does the abstract description "just like that" mean? My modest nose says extremely fresh, almost clinking cold. It's absolutely room-filling, almost biting. Unfortunately for me it goes too much into the metallic and hardly changes - in my opinion. From 0-100 with metallic freshness in the face and remains felt eternally on the accelerator pedal. I was able to see it on my skin 16h later, which impressed me deeply, but PDM is known for its enormous durability. But unfortunately it is not one of these fragrances, which I would like to call my own for me personally.
