My Platonic Form of a Citrus Floral
At some point in the not-too-distant past, C.O Bigelow LEMON & ORANGE BLOSSOM was on its way out the door at Bath & Body Works, so I picked up a couple of bottles on drastic reduction knowing, first, that I love citrus florals and, second, one (I!) can never have too much cologne.
To my surprise, LEMON & ORANGE BLOSSOM has ended up being my favorite citrus floral of all time. Parfumo is the first and only place where this creation is listed in the database, and despite the fact that this will be the only review of it, and no one else can now buy it, I post my thoughts in the hopes that the folks at Bigelow will bring it back!
Crisp, clean, shiny and invigorating: LEMON & ORANGE BLOSSOM smells very fine indeed. It is rare for me to agree with the marketing blurb on a perfume, but in this case I do. Here's what is written on the box:
"Our citrus and floral-blended Eau de Parfum combines sparkling, crisp Italian Lemon with romantic Orange Blossom, and sheer, watery Jasmine for a delicate and feminine scent."
True, all true!!!! Plus it has great longevity and is not a cologne (as I had thought when I bought it blind online) at all. This *is* an eau de parfum.
My final compliment is that the bottle, while simple, is nonetheless very attractive.
