indolic candied flowers
on initial spray i loooved this. it's powdery and sweet with a candy like quality to it. but as it sits, i really started to notice the animalic notes. the smell reminds me of one of those buildings you walk into at a zoo to see the snakes and nocturnal animals.

if you want to smell similar to this minus the civet, i definitely recommend hilde soliani's sweet parmesean violets!

spicy soil
sadly very disappointed by this fragrance. on paper i appreciate it for what it is, vegetal earthy wet soil. but something about the combination of savory and pepper like spiciness just doesn’t sit well with me. it also reminds me of a skunk spray jelly belly but without any of the sweetness. not for me :(

not for me
i'm so sad, i really wanted to love this!! the opener is soapy and aromatic, very clean smelling. but as it dried down i noticed it had this sort of seaweed smell that just makes me feel sick. i didn't get any saltiness from it either which i really wanted. i'd highly recommend buying a sample first.

sweet yet sharp
there's something a bit strange for my nose to this fragrance. it's absolutely sweet and powdery and very girly, but it has a bit of a sharpness to it? something that gives me a slight headache almost on the first couple hours of wear. overall it's fine and cute but not something i would regularly wear.

if you know silent hill 2, i imagine maria might smell like this. sweet and feminine but off in a way.

soft and vintage
i have this in a bottle shaped like a black cat! it definitely has a vintage smell, with that powdery-ness and soapy musk. its soft though, a little creamy and sweet. i don't get much spice from it but that could be due to age. overall not my favorite type of fragrance but it's pleasant enough. 5/10
