After seeing some reviews about Zen, I thought I had to try it. I first tested it on a paper strip in the perfumery. I was very disappointed. It wasn't at all what I was expecting... i went home with the paper strip in my pocket. There I wanted to dispose of it, but smelled it again to get the drydown. Here I found it much more pleasant. On my next trip to the perfumery, I sprayed it on my skin and was surprised at how differently it affected me. No longer so scratchy, annoying - but flowery, fresh, sensual. I then went for a run around the shopping center and had to take it with me on the way back.

It smells fresh, flowery, slightly aquatic, well-groomed. Lasts super long on me. Easily 8 hours. A really nice freshie that I often wear to the office.

I have had this fragrance in my collection for a few months now. The fragrance progression is very linear, I personally don't notice any change after the drydown. The fragrance lasts all day, even on clothes until the next wash.

I personally don't smell anything sweet, no vanilla, no caramel. It smells very woody and rather tart to me.
