At that time I did not know me well out with perfume and was fascinated by the pheromone idea and layering with other perfumes to strengthen the actual fragrance (as I was told). The scent is fresh, slightly green, citrus. Actually terms that sound pleasant. However, this is joined by a scent that smells like Bepanthen wound ointment or even some insect sprays. Totally unpleasant, as it brings a medical and synthetic character with it I can not enjoy at all.
I do not know if the fragrance before delivery was not "against read" but with the knowledge of a university I would have expected more. Actually a total disaster, if I think about it so right!

Spicebomb extreme is the most reliable, long-lasting and best scent for winter in the designer faction. Everyone likes it, everyone can wear it, for any occasion and in any weather below 10°C.
As an amateur nose I can even smell many individual notes: allspice and cumin, moist tobacco, vanilla and cinnamon. Overall sweet and smooth. Extremely pleasant. Super shelf life and at least 4h of top silage.
Super price/performance. I can recommend it to everyone. I'm not going to go out on a limb and say it's a blind buy. But in principle every perfumery has the one in the assortment :D

I also own the original Allure from 1999, which offers a creamy, citrus-fruity sweetness; perfect for warm days. With Extrême, the creaminess gives way to a pleasant powdery texture and the citrus fruitiness changes into a dry, fresh spice. This spice carries real power. In the Drydown remains sweet, sexy vanilla (Tonka)I wear it all year round but not at very warm temperatures. So on summer evenings or in autumn, spring and mild summer days. Preferably to honor the title after an intense sports unit, cold showered and quickly wear rubbed. With chic clothing. This invigorates the spirits and strengthens the self-confidence :D

In the opening fresh, pleasantly citric without toilet stone vibes and cool with a slightly pleasant metallic note gives way after a short time to an aquatic salty character. I'm not a fragrance expert but to the salty smell something dull is added: Maybe musk?
But incredibly pleasant and simply fresh. This treasure develops best in summer at high temperatures and forms a synergetic salty scent with its own fresh sweat. I once applied it in cool spring weather: Only musty.
The bottle in frosted glass subconsciously protects freshness and coolness.

Extremely gentle but strong character. Vanilla like apple strudel, diffuse slightly sweet (fruity?) spice, dusty pleasant cigar tobacco. This is the impression I was allowed to get from Herod. He plays at the top of the league.
In fact, I find that Herod represents a year-round scent. It is precisely this smooth tobacco note that goes well with sun, beach and the South Seas, even if in a contradictory way with the other fragrances. Maybe it's more towards the evening when it has cooled down a bit and to a more chic occasion.
