Patchouli feels insulted in his honor
I'll make it short and sweet: this perfume gets the worst rating I've ever given here!

By chance, I came into possession of a sample of the fragrance with the promising name "Patchouli Magnetik" today and was immediately full of anticipation. I love patchouli, so I was very excited and had a certain expectation of how great this perfume would be.

Well, I had already sampled another fragrance from Maison Crivelli a long time ago and I thought it was terrible, but Patchouli would certainly be completely different. Or so I thought.

So I quickly sprayed it on and smelled it straight away. Huh? What's that supposed to be? Rotten peach? I took a look at the fragrance pyramid. It actually reads very interestingly. This should actually be a fragrance to my taste. Why does my wrist suddenly smell so bad that I just want to wash it off?

Okay, so let's wait and see how the fragrance develops. But no, I'm sorry, waiting doesn't help here either. The initial almost nausea-inducing, extremely synthetic rotten peach doesn't turn into anything nice even after 3 hours. In the end, all we have here is a synthetic rotten peach with such a terribly musty patchouli accompaniment that it is an insult to this plant and one wonders all the time in which rotten corner of the moldy cellar the peach is rotting away.

No, I'm sorry, I can't find any positive words for this perfume. Except perhaps that the longevity and sillage are absolutely bomb. Much to my chagrin, because I can no longer wash the stinking peach off my skin.

Safe harbor
Lalique is one of the brands that I can always buy blindly and have never been disappointed by. As long as I am convinced by the scent pyramid that it could be a perfume for me, then I also like it sprayed on my skin.

I now have 4 or 5 blind purchases from Lalique and I love them all! My latest acquisition is Le Parfum.

The reviews and statements here are rather ambivalent, many very good, some rather negative. But the fragrance pyramid once again promised me a direct hit.

As many Lalique perfumes are no longer only available for expensive money in niche perfumeries, but also at quite reasonable prices in various online perfumeries, the decision to buy Le Parfum blind was also quickly made.

Le Parfum starts off quite herbaceous and spicy and perhaps takes a little getting used to due to the laurel. However, a heavenly floral note of heliotrope and jasmine quickly joins in, making the whole thing much more feminine, warm and powdery. When the sweetness of vanilla and an almost heavy combination of tonka, patchouli and woody notes are added to the top note, this perfume really blows me away.

It smells very elegant, tart-sweet and classic, without seeming old-fashioned to me. An almost opulent fragrance that I can still imagine wearing - sprayed on discreetly - during the day and at any time of year.

After the somewhat unusual laurel start, Le Parfum is certainly quite a pleasant fragrance overall, like so many from Lalique. This naturally increases the hit rate for blind purchases. Nevertheless, I don't see this "pleasantness" as a negative thing. I like to have perfumes in my collection that I can rely on. That I like just as much today as I will tomorrow or in 5 years' time. That don't stand out because of their rough edges, but are simply well-rounded and good and make me feel good.

And that's exactly what Lalique perfumes are like for me. Like a safe haven of fragrances..

Summer vacation in a bottle
What all the JHAG perfumes I have tested so far have in common is this prominent synthetic note. I find this note really pungent in most of the perfumes from this company - I often have the feeling that I have sprayed hairspray directly into my airways. There are only a few fragrances from JHAG that I like, even really like, despite the synthetics.

One of them is Lust for Sun. I absolutely don't have the feeling that anything is clogging my airways. At the beginning, a very intense floral scent (something lilac-like, even if it's not listed) paired with coconut immediately spreads. You are catapulted straight into a good mood vacation feeling.

Over time, the fragrance becomes softer and sweeter, the typical Monoï scent blends with coconut and vanilla. Overall, however, the perfume does not undergo too much development.

Lust for Sun is an absolute summer vacation sun-beach cocktail sunscreen scent from start to finish, very synthetic, yes, but not pungent. Very intense and long-lasting, but not too overpowering.

Simply puts me in a good mood, warms my heart and makes me look forward to next summer, especially now in dreary January!

Sun in a bottle
Just looking at the beautiful bottle, you can't help but think of warming rays of sunshine. You almost think you can see the sun shining out of the golden yellow liquid.

Solaris starts off fruity and slightly tart with blackcurrant and lemon. At the beginning, I also perceive a slight hint of creaminess, but mainly a fresh, fruity note prevails, which immediately lifts the mood and provides feelings of happiness.

As it progresses, Solaris becomes softer, sweeter and creamier. But never too sweet. Just a subtle, pleasant and unobtrusive sweetness. Vanilla and floral notes are added, making the perfume appear ever sunnier and warmer. When sandalwood also appears, the perfect sun scent is created for me. Like a day in the sun by the sea, driftwood all around me, I enjoy the peace and quiet and the warmth of the sun's rays caresses my soul.

Simply an all-round wonderful perfume with a really long lasting of at least 8 hours and a good sillage. For me, it's definitely a unisex fragrance (although I think the distinction between women's and men's perfumes is now outdated anyway). And not just for summer, but for every day when you want to spray a little sunshine on your skin...

Pleasing fruit mix
Bliss - delight... Well, the word is perhaps a little exaggerated. But Summer Bliss is definitely a good mood fragrance for the summer.

To me, it smells like a fruity-fresh, not too sweet cocktail of all kinds of fruits, although I can't quite pinpoint them. I can also only guess at the vanilla, musk and sandalwood base.

As a pleasant everyday fragrance for the summer with a certain potential to lift the mood with its fruity-citrusy freshness, Summer Bliss is definitely suitable. However, the fragrance doesn't really have anything special or even a certain recognition value for me. It's nice, no more and no less. Longevity and sillage are okay.

All in all, you can buy a very tasty summer fragrance for little money. I usually use it in summer right after getting up to wake up and get in a good mood. Summer Bliss does this job quite well!
