A Polynesian vacation in a bottle

The first few minutes are like being wreathed in a fresh lei. After 15 minutes, the coconut begins to comes forward. I need to be careful and not apply this like Vanilla Vibes, because this fragrance projects! And the longevity is considerable. Over wear time, the ambroxan and musk base provides warmth. The vanilla is there, hiding within the coconut. This layers deliciously with Moscow Mule or Sunny Side Up.

One quality all my JHAG scents share is a fresh dry down. The florals, coconut, or what have you never turn metallic. The same for the florals in Lust for Sun. They may grow fainter, but never stale. All stages of Lust for Sun smell brilliant.

I was so excited to smell this, as I am a fan of coconut scents but here the note is super understated. To me this is more of a lotion/shower gel smell than perfume, with maybe too much synthetic-smelling white florals in the opening, at least to my taste. I expected something more creamy, sunscreeny but instead I was met with an overly floral, kinda dated scent if I'm honest. The dry down is much much better but you have to be patient.
Overall is it pleasant? Yes. Would I wear it? No.

Smell of a day near the beach

Imagine a hot day near the beach: hot skin, smell of sunscreen cream, white flowers in a nearby garden and fresh coconut in your hands. This is exactly what this launch is about! Such a sunny perfume, perfect selection of naming and bottle colour. Longevity is amazing. This perfume will make your whole day sunny!

White florals all the way

I love the smell of this perfume. It's all white florals, all day long.
I especially smell the gardenia, monoi and orange blossom but i don't get any of the vanilla nor coconut. I guess that's why I don't perceive it as a sunscreeny perfume.
I don't find it to be annoying in hot weather and it actually makes me feel clean and fresh all day. I can also see myself wearing it during winter.

Love it.

Creamy gardenia and sweet ylang

One of my favourite fragrances from this house. Smells like a beautiful delicate creamy white floral fragrance, that I find best worn on those colder days as it seems to shine more bringing in its own warmth. Like sunshine in a bottle.
The gardenia and sweet ylang ylang are blended perfectly with a touch of a refreshing citrusy scent.
As it settles there’s a smooth creamy coconut and vanilla scent that linger.
Lasts around 4-5hours on my skin with an average projection.
