Not my thing, but interesting.

When I read the fragrance notes, I thought this could be exactly my taste - not at all?

I received the package and had to unpack it right away, but with the first spray, I didn't know what to say.

The name is truly more than just a program here - toffee but burnt.
The scent hardly develops on my skin, but rather becomes a bit nuttier, which sounds interesting, but appeals to me less.

In my nose, the Vanilla Toffee is merely an average gourmand, which is quite pungent and certainly not to everyone's liking.

The vanilla only stands out with a sharp smell and misses its mark in my opinion, making the scent feel very monotonous. What a shame.

After I was unsure whether I would like the DNA, as I am actually neither a fan of saffron nor of rose, I ordered the fragrance anyway due to the low price.

With the first spray, my concerns were laid to rest, as I couldn't categorize the scent... but in a good way.

The fragrance starts incredibly aggressively and directly - almost piercing, but that settles down very quickly. After the scent has been on the skin for 1-2 minutes, something sweet starts to emerge and softens the harshness of the ouds and the rose.

Some time passes and gradually the fragrance settles into its base note, which offers a great mix of pralines and spiciness.

Oh yes, it's best not to spray it on your clothes, especially if you don't know the fragrance yet and haven't fallen in love with it, because getting rid of it takes time.

During a stopover, my girlfriend and I spent some time in Zurich testing out new fragrances. The Mango Aoud immediately caught my attention, and I sprayed 3 pumps on myself and walked through the city. I was approached twice within an hour by strangers commenting on the scent, and for the first time, I received genuine compliments on my perfume…

I eventually got the Mango Aoud as a souvenir from the vacation and wear it more than average, and each time I’m told that the whole room or house smells like me. This has only happened before with my Alexandria II.

The scent describes a juicy, slightly synthetic mango that brings woody undertones - like a mango soda. Not too sweet - rather fruity and bitter. Perfect for pleasant summer days under 25 degrees.

After I tested this scent several times at the local Douglas, I noticed that the smell reminded me of something. But what?
In the end, I couldn't resist buying it, and now I know what it reminds me of - woodruff with vanilla sauce!
The spicy, sweet scent is incredibly similar to a woodruff pudding.
Certainly not to everyone's taste, but it perfectly matches mine.
