Unfortunately no, unfortunately not at all :-(
Vanilla Toffee... Finally a new fragrance suitable for the fall and winter season. Man... the anticipation was great, because Swiss Arabian definitely has some very good fragrances in its range and the Youtube promo videos of some influencers for this fragrance were very positive.
So I pre-ordered it straight away... Vanilla Toffee... sounds great, delicious, exciting and tasty. It finally arrived today. I was more than ready to officially open the Christmas season, so I quickly unpacked it, examined the wonderfully yellow, creamy bottle and sprayed it on straight away.
Instead of the long-awaited HO HO HO, it was unfortunately HUST HUST HUST... and that's no lie... Wow, what was that? The opening pops... but where is my creamy toffee, the milk, the coffee and the delicious vanilla?
Let's get to the point... Vanilla Toffee is more reminiscent of a barbecue where too much spirit has been used, charred wood or burnt caramel from a frying pan. Too intense, too abstract, far too smoky. It really doesn't work for me and unfortunately my expectations were not met at all.
I praise the Vanilla Haze from Fugazzi, which really sends you to a Christmas market in terms of scent.
After a few hours, the fragrance is still super strong, so in terms of longevity it can certainly be classified as good. There will certainly be people who find Vanilla Toffee unusual and "different". I wouldn't recommend the blind buy, it's better to get a sample first and have a sniff. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to write Santa a new fragrance on my wish list.

My first...
Musk Therapy is not just "a" fragrance for me personally, Musk Therapy was my introduction to the world of perfumes and fragrances a few months ago. After a friend who has been in the business for a while ordered me a few fragrance samples, Musk Therapy was THE fragrance that turned my head right from the start.
They say you don't forget the first one :-) That was definitely the case here too. After the first sample was empty relatively quickly, I simply couldn't resist DNA and bought my first "real" perfume... musk Therapy by Initio. Not an inexpensive start, but I haven't regretted the decision once to this day, even though my fragrance collection has grown quite quickly in the meantime.
The first thing that impresses after buying Musk Therapy is its elegant and very high-quality bottle, which makes unpacking it a real highlight.
The opening after spraying is immediately impressive with a wonderfully creamy and fruity note, slightly citrusy with a hint of musk. The whole thing comes across directly and so round that you can immediately understand the high quality of this fragrance. The sillage is great and the fragrance progression is absolutely amazing. Musk Therapy is super soft and slightly woody on the skin and is a source of great pleasure and compliments throughout the day.
The durability is a 10/10 for me, I myself definitely classify it as a unisex fragrance which you can actually wear all year round and in every season without hesitation and without attracting "negative" attention.
So let's come to the conclusion: Would I buy Musk Therapy again despite the high price? Absolutely, for me Musk Therapy is a very special, extraordinary and extremely sophisticated fragrance. And that's exactly why I only wear it on special occasions, for example to round off a special evening with friends, a party or a date.

Super "every day" fragrance
I became aware of Armani Code (perfume) through a sample and immediately fell in love with it. The fragrance is an absolute all-rounder. The Armani Code DNA is surrounded by a wonderful sweet and fresh note. I have worn the fragrance myself at work and at home throughout the summer and rarely have I received so many compliments as I have with Code. After the sweet, tangy opening, the fragrance lingers wonderfully on the skin. Always present, but by no means overpowering. The price/performance ratio is great here, so I can absolutely recommend the Armani Code even as a "blind buy"

My personal summer fragrance 2024
I actually came across Malibù - Party in the Bay for the first time after a good friend ordered a sample. You know when you fall in love with a fragrance straight away?
That's what happened with Malibù - Party in the Bay. The opening is an intense and fresh lime, which is then combined with a wonderful coconut. For me, the fragrance reaches its peak when it has really settled on the skin. Simply creamy, fresh, pleasant and long-lastingly citrusy. I can already say that arty in the Bay will be a permanent fixture in my collection in 2025.
