A women's scent?
When I ordered a bottle of Kouros, a small sample of 1 million perfume was included, immediately sprayed on my wrist I smelled a sweet soup.
You call that a men's scent? Personally, I'm quite a fan of somewhat sweeter and "more feminine" fragrances, such as my beloved "Le Male" or the "Joop Homme", which many hate.
What was revealed here, however, is a coconut water that I completely classify as a women's fragrance... Most likely to compare it with the deodorant "Axe Excite". The sweetness is so pungently sour that I could not imagine to have this scent in my nose for a longer time without feeling sick.
Even if the scent pyramid says otherwise, this is my personal feeling, but I also eat my chicken nuggets with curry sauce and I am an avowed "sweet and sour" hater.
For a 16-year-old who is going to the disco for the first time, the 1 million perfume might still be the right one, but a grown man will surely be eyed slantwise when he shows up in public smelling of this little water.

Dixiklo from the bottle
As a big fan of the original le Male I was very excited about this flanker! I promised myself a spicier and more intense le Male with a fresher top note.
Arriving at the store in front of the tester I was surprised how empty the bottle is already...
Expectantly sprayed a sprayer on my wrist (I don't believe in test strips).
What the hell is that? I was shocked! A sugar-sweet, sticky slob! Isn't that what a man doesn't want to smell like? All of a sudden I remembered where I'd smelled this "smell" before! The chemicals from the dixitoilets smell exactly like this!
As good as the original is, most of the flankers are just as bad..

The safe haven
My absolute favourite scent to which I always return when everything else is annoying!
In recent years, although it has become unbelievably cheap, this fragrance impresses me again and again!
I have hardly been able to perceive such a sophisticated scent in any other perfume.
The top note starts incredibly masculine Spicy, even fresh with lavender and mint. For me the highlight of the sailor!
In the heart note the fragrance becomes even "warmer". It gets heavier until it has a base of almost gourmand tonka and vanilla sweetness.
Even though Le Male is already 25 years old, he has a DNA that is still very modern, even for today!
Meanwhile, everyone associates this scent with someone or something, so it can also be a handle to the toilet, because if you smell of her EX on the date, the chances are not necessarily high.
Durability is above average despite reformulation.
The sprayers tend to work poorly at times

A dash of grief
Strange that my first rating on this great site which I have been following for years just my worst blind purchase is due ????

I ordered Encre Noire after having read only good things about it in a perfume group! Afterwards I checked out this page as usual and read that this fragrance smells like death and mourning... I didn't think anything of it and wondered how death and grief can smell...
The package arrived one morning and after opening it, a beautiful and huge black cardboard box with wood grain optics smiled at me! Full of expectation I took the small inkwell out of the box and was fascinated by the robust flacon and the great lid! What can still go wrong now?
After spraying it on my wrist I waited a few minutes as usual before I smelled it.
The first sniff revealed a great, dry and intense vetiver note paired with liquorice and burnt car tires! Like many a time I thought that the top note might have a great heart note! Not this time!
The fragrance hardly changes in its scent, only the tyre fire seems to be softened!
The fragrance is dry as dust, has no sweetness or sweetness at all...
Most likely to compare with an old armchair which has been standing in a ruin for years, a wooden coffin or a library of the 17th century...
Definitely an interesting scent, but not for a 23-year-old boy like me.
But my best friend really liked the scent! A stylish end twenties who likes to wear such beating like Kouros, Egoiste or Antaeus.
He's better off there now.

Encre Noire dark as death, an olfactory crypt, a gravedigger with a spray head.
