an autumn romance
Leather 6 is pure autumn for me!
The opening is almost explosively bright, with an impression of fruity osmanthus, vanilla/amber, leather, and smoke. Like sun rays, colorful leaves, amber hues, a cool breeze carrying the scent of burning wood and foliage. It directly reminds me of Babycat, but Leather 6 shouts more; it is bolder, more extroverted, and definitely fruitier for me. Sometimes even a bit piercing. But wonderful in the sillage..
On my autumn walk, I approach the fire pit, and it quickly becomes dark and cool. The heart of the perfume reminds me of hot, spiced cider and autumn fair festivities. Slightly tipsy and exhilarated, a fast-paced romance ignites here, ending with kisses on the leather seat of a car in an open-air cinema. The feminine perfume blends with the masculine cologne, merging on the leather with the scent of warm skin and the sweat of the lovers. A rollercoaster of feelings. Butterflies in the stomach. The feeling of invincibility and youthful recklessness...

The brightness of this perfume reminds me of the experience when clear, cold autumn/winter air brings out and emphasizes certain scents and nuances of perfumes.

On me, it lasts about 6-8 hours and has a good sillage. You will definitely stand out with this..
Trick'or'treat in a bottle ;)

my Halloween costume
This perfume is truly transportive for me... with the first inhale, images begin to flicker before my inner eye. Dry aromatic sandalwood and dark, full-bodied cocoa take me on a journey aboard an old, massive pirate ship, to new horizons and unimaginable adventures. Very soon after the initial dry impression, the texture of Dulce de Leche joins in. It doesn't smell directly like it, but you can taste it, this glossy, thick, smooth, caramel-like mass. All of this, the dry wood, the dark cocoa, and the smooth Dulce de Leche are carried and diffused by the vanilla-salty ambergris, which glitters and sparkles like golden foam in the warm light of the setting sun on the high seas. This ambergris takes over the opening after the first impression and hints that the journey also leads into dark, mysterious, and dangerous realms. Naturally, it makes me think of "Pirates of the Caribbean." On one hand, because I can imagine that this is how William Turner smells after joining the pirates :p on the other hand, because Pirates of the Caribbean plays a lot with the passage to the afterlife and the connection between the two worlds.
This balance of the perfume between the worlds is also the reason why I find it perfect for autumn and Halloween. It is a time when darkness returns and signals the end of a life cycle in nature. The description of what Halloween spiritually means to me would be too extensive here, but Mxxx. communicates that in a direct, physically tangible way, and that’s why I love perfumery.
In any case, after about 10-15 minutes, it becomes powdery, smoky-vanilla, and more elegant. It reminds me of the vibe of fragrances like Feve Deliciouse by Dior. Still slightly salty and very sexy. It also fits perfectly in the clubbing context - smoke, leather, sweat on sweet skin...
In the drydown, it takes on a slight lipstick nuance.
A perfect companion for dark, cold, foggy, and contemplative autumn nights and intimate moments with depth.
Unfortunately, the longevity is not as impressive as the composition (1-2 hours noticeably perceivable, then more of a whisper). But performance is secondary for me...

Baguette and Bronze Goddess
This little gem of a perfume moved in with me a few days ago. After the first test in the store, I knew I had to have it, even though I didn't yet realize how much it would enchant me. My first impression was a very sweet, caramelized vanilla, mixed with a kind of cocoa butter, like a gourmand body lotion might smell. A bit plastic-like, naive, maybe even cheap. But something still caught me. Then came the dry-down, wrapping me in a cloud of freshly baked baguette, spread with a vanilla-coconut butter. Not particularly sweet, but wonderfully aromatic, warm, and flattering... This cloud accompanied me for several hours and left a faint trace on the spot on my arm where I had sprayed it, even after showering.

The next day, I went back to the store and bought 30ml. Once at work, I unpacked it and sprayed myself all over... WOW. The jasmine, which I hadn't noticed before, came through strongly in the opening and was quite heavy, indolic, and intoxicating. Now it got really interesting for me, as I usually don't like simple, sweet beauties at all. But since I'm also not a huge fan of white florals, I was a bit worried... after all, I didn't intend to buy a heavy jasmine perfume. However, after a few moments, tonka and vanilla took over the show again and created this wonderful bread aroma, which I particularly perceive in the scent trail, not directly on the skin. I imagine warm, steaming white bread being spread with a kind of butter, but this time it's more like a body butter of the self-tanner kind. With a "Bronze Goddess" type of scent. This idea lingered over me for about an hour, until eventually all of it melted into a vanilla-caramel. However, I could swear that I can sense a kind of musk in it...

All in all, I'm super glad to have discovered this little treasure, and I'm even happier that I've found a representative for Blanche Bete that gives me the same feeling for a fraction of the price, which means my decants of BB will last longer :P

Weather Lightning
For me, this scent is a masterpiece. Yes, it may not necessarily smell like a perfume. No floral bouquet, no rounded amber or leather, no classic aquatic freshie. But it paints for me so vividly a landscape, an atmosphere, a weather condition.

I am on vacation and standing on the porch of the holiday home. It could be a bungalow on a tropical island, or just as well a house by the lake in Scandinavia. A storm is brewing on the horizon, and you can see deep gray clouds piling up. The fresh cool wind picks up speed and chases away the muggy heat of the day. Leaves and grains of sand fly through the air. You are freshly showered after a day full of adventures and ready to cozy up in the cabin for the evening. You can still smell the detergent on your skin, along with the electricity of the lightning in the gray sky. Somewhere, there’s a freshly brewed black tea sitting around.
The pepper in this scent tingles in the nose, as if you could really smell electricity in a power cable... for whatever reason, I know what that smells like :D

The scent progression is quite linear, although after a few hours it becomes drier, woodier, perhaps even a bit smokier for me. This makes it perfect for gray, rainy days from spring to autumn.
It lasts half the day on the skin and projects pleasantly, more as a personal experience rather than a statement.

Aside from lightning and gray clouds, it smells to me of salty sand, gray stones, and a (tropical) forest in the distance.
Totally interesting and creative scent!

exotic coconut dream tamed
After extensive research on my actual target object Chokedee from the same house, I realized that Sweet Farewell is somewhat like the light version of this coconut rice dessert served on banana leaves. By chance, I was able to snag it for a good price and I am surprised - if this is the light version... wow, Chokedee must be a mighty treat! :p I had imagined Sweet Farewell to be a bit more transparent... like other fragrances with a note of brown sugar, more cocktail-like. But it is definitely a coconut milk pudding, full fat! However, I am not disappointed!
The green notes in here give it a truly authentic Far Eastern touch. The coconut rice pudding is not necessarily in the foreground, but is wafted away by a breeze that carries botanical scents. Humid tropical air, white flowers (which are not listed but still push their way into my imagination with this scent impression). All captured in a high-end body cream or a super fancy spa product.
Surprisingly, I find it quite similar to Crystal Noir - just less perfumey, less synthetic, less edgy and scratchy, and less abstract. But upon first application, I immediately thought - I know this scent from somewhere!
I also love Crystal Noir, but I must say, since I got Sweet Farewell in spring, I have hardly reached for CN... However, they are not twins for me and not meant for the same vibe.
I like to wear Sweet Farewell on cooler summer days or in spring. It feels very well-groomed, cozy, yet interesting and different, and satisfies my wanderlust.

The longevity and sillage are superb - it lasts all day and I can smell it around me all the time.

All in all, I am glad that our paths crossed and I can travel with Sweet Farewell whenever I want ;)
