This is by far not even close the best versatile, year around blue fragrance on the market. I dislike most blue scents, but this is spectacular. The notes don’t really do it justice. What I smell personally is just a clean, well kept man who takes his grooming seriously. Its not extravagant. Its definition of quiet luxury. Something as simple as a blue scent taken to the highest level possible. There is absolutely nothing I would change about it. Its so smooth and well blended that you can hardly even pick out notes. Its just Elysium. Luxurious and effortlessly charming. Longevity is also solid on me, with 7 sprays I get good 8 hours with a moderate projection.

Close your eyes, imagine a luxurious summer, free of worries and day to day chores. You’re relaxing under an orange tree by the beach in a freshly washed linen shirt, sipping a mojito, while the waiter just brought over some fresh fruit. Thats what pacific chill smells like….like the good life, where we all want to end up if it all works out.

Wearing Sharaf Blend yesterday and smelling it in the air on my girlfriend today im extremely impressed. I know people like to talk shit about “clones”, but this isn’t at all a clone. Is the bottle a complete rip off ? Yes, but other than that this really deserves its own flowers. Its so sweet and inviting it really reminds me of a pastry shop. I never understood when people made comparisons to pastries, when talking about fragrance. Lets take Angels Share as an example. It really doesn’t smell like any apple pie Ive had in my 22 years on this earth, but people consistently compere it to it. This on the other hand is so soft and buttery, almost like you’re smelling freshly baked croissants. Im again extremely impressed. I dont understand the comparison to Angels share at all though. Thats coming from someone who owned it, but gave it away to my mom because of how boozy it went on my skin. Opening and mid was spectacular, but then it went really sour like I literally spilt cognac on myself. This really doesn’t have nearly or almost any of the booziness, nor the aggressive sweetness in the opening and mid. Its just buttery, mildly sweet and inviting. Doesn’t push out massively, but persist for a long time.

I got a sample of this and I do not understand the hate this gets. I dont like any dior homme fragrances. Original, too heavy on the iris, straight make up bag, 2020, too basic, intense, goes sour on me, parfum original, too leathery and animalic. This is in my opinion the best one and the only one id consider buying. It does have iris but its so well balanced, fresh yet powerful, warm and powdery. I got 2 samples of it to really test it and honestly, the more I wear it the more I like it. The core is quite simple, but the iris stays throughout the life of the fragrance at least on me, which gives the overall quite simple ambery DNA some personality. It also stays for quite long which is a plus. Is it a 10 ? No, but id give it a solid 7.5, which is far better than any other homme in the lineup.

I recently picked up a 85/100ml 2nd hand bottle of this for 80€ (retail is 190€). I wasn’t sure on the scent when I first smelt it (only on wrist) so I almost didn’t buy it, because I have a tendency to buy things that are a “good deal” and than they sit. Thankfully here I said “what the heck” and bought it. Im so thankful I did. I always had issues with summer fragrances. I tend to find them uninspiring and very boring. Its either deodorant like or a citrus bomb, but thiss….This is by far the best tom ford Ive tried. When you actually wear this and not just spray it on wrist and take a whiff you get so much more out of it, so wear it when you try it. You wont get the right idea if you don’t . This to me is ocean in a bottle. Its fresh, green, aromatic and deep with this amazing salty smell enveloping it and making it flow beautifully from the top to the base. You also get a tad of this almost rotten smell in this, that you also get from the sea, so I can understand people who don’t like it, but if you love the smell of the ocean this is sensational. It also stays on skin forever it doesn’t project massively, only in the first 3 hours, after that it becomes a skin scent and as a skin scent it lasts and lasts. Not long ago, I wore this in the evening when me and me girlfriend went on a date and she still smelt it on me the next morning at around 10am and asked me if I woke up earlier and took a shower because I smelt so nice. This will definitely be my go to scent for this warm weather season.
