A miraculous flight...
...that also describes my first impression of the entire brand quite well.
Based in Istanbul, French-sounding name, English names for the fragrances. Well, you don't always have to understand everything to like it. So I sprayed on "Wondrous Flight" in the perfumery with an open mind and no great expectations.... yo, quite nice. Grapefruit and ginger immediately say hello and something creamy remains in the background. First thought "You kind of know..."
Sprayed on again in the evening without any other distracting scents. Yes, unmistakably
Burlington 1819 DNA
The tart grapefruit together with the ginger are immediately present.
In this candidate, however, I like the heart note and the drydown a little better than in the original. On the one hand, the notes play very nicely towards a rather woody-creamy finish and, on the other, I find that the longevity is somewhat better here, with this refreshingly tart note wafting through the nose from time to time for a very long time.
You definitely have to like the packaging and bottle visually. However, both are very elaborate and of top quality. The cover is embroidered and the bottle is lacquered with a "smooth touch" effect. The spray head also gives no cause for criticism.
All in all, a very successful summer fragrance that I can only recommend, even if it is definitely inspired by one or two other existing perfumes.

Not even that black
As the name suggests.
I was made aware of this fragrance in my trusted perfumery when I wanted to know if he could recommend a nice fragrance as a dayli that doesn't offend (I already have enough of those)
First impression on the fragrance strip "Joa, quite ok" -> Bottle packed
Sprayed on the next day and yes, he's right, you won't annoy anyone with this. (And that's not meant in a negative way, even if some people see it differently, such fragrances also have their right to exist)
We have a beautiful citrusy/floral opening which then turns into a soft rose fragrance that is increasingly supported by vanilla. The rose is not penetrating or room-filling, but very delicate, as if you were standing in grandma's garden where isolated roses stand between other flowers and the scent is softly wafted over to you.
It lasts around 8 hours on my skin, which I think is long enough for such a fragrance.
The bottle and sprayer are also well made, so if you are still looking for a nice office fragrance, you should hold your nose here

Vanilla milk for spraying
It makes quite an impression, the flagship of the Hemcael range. Technically, the bottle is quite impressive (visually, of course, it's a matter of taste, I personally think it's a bit over the top, which is why it doesn't score 10 points, but it certainly stands out from the crowd)
But what can the fragrance do?
The first time I smelled the fragrance was on a strip in my trusted perfumery and I was pleasantly surprised. Spicy opening, pleasant vanilla as it progresses.
Unfortunately, I was a little disillusioned with the bottling I received.
The opening only lasts a few minutes on the skin, after which it gives way to a rather synthetic vanilla milk scent. Not that it's unpleasant, it's quite pleasant and very relaxing. Reminds me of the vanilla drink packets that used to be on sale in the school playground at break time.
But that was it. No further twist, no transformation. I would classify the shelf life as very good, my drink packet stays with me all day. In view of the fact that there are already a lot of fragrances like this, the bottom line is that it is disappointing, especially considering the price.
This DNA is much more affordable and reinvents absolutely nothing
