If you know Ishq....!
So where should I start? Best to start at the beginning :)
I spontaneously got a sample because I wanted to know how this supposedly amazing smelling Ishq actually smells.
I happened to be out with a friend who is not at all enthusiastic about fragrances. I, on the other hand, am all the more so :) Full of joy, I sprayed a puff on the back of my hand... Boom! Sweet strawberry & saffron hit me right in the face!
I was blown away again after a long time, but in a positive way, I fell in love immediately. I was suddenly transported back to my childhood; my buddy said the same thing, and to this day we don't know why. (Maybe someone else felt the same way and can help me out) He had also never smelled such a sweet, delicious strawberry. :)
I knew I had to get this... well, it wasn't so easy to get my hands on it.
After a bit of research, I stumbled upon the Special edition and thought to myself, also because of the nice story with the sister, the reviews, and the availability, this will be it (temporarily).
When the good piece arrived and I sprayed it, I thought WOW Mega!!
Strawberry, saffron, vanilla, amber all perfectly united, simply beautiful.
A truly wonderful, beautifully balanced fragrance, if it weren't for the sample of the normal version.
So left hand Special, right hand normal version.
Special: first 15 minutes perfect dominating strawberry, then everything unites, becomes a bit dark, and stays that way until the end. Longevity for me is about 8 hours on the skin. Projection and here's the catch FOR ME was unfortunately (compared to the normal version) not so outstanding. Maybe because of the 30% fragrance oil content??
Normal: Sweet strawberry & saffron for about 4 hours, then more vanilla & amber & a bit of strawberry :) Much louder, sweeter, and projects definitely stronger! In my opinion, a more beautiful fragrance progression! Thus, it was clear I also needed a normal bottle of Ishq! My favorite!!
Both are truly wonderful fragrances that you feel can't scare anyone away!
The bottle is very high quality, heavy, and extremely pretty! Allegedly handmade.
The Special has a small red stone on the cap; otherwise, it's an identical bottle.
Both come with a hefty price tag, but once you've smelled them, you can definitely dig into your pocket :)

From Fresh and Active to the Alpha Male!
On a sunny autumn afternoon at about 15 degrees, still active and energized after sports & sauna, I was out in the shopping street running errands. That day, I had sprayed LV L'IMMENSITÉ, which matched my mood and the weather perfectly. I still had a sample of this fragrance in my gym bag, which I personally like.
When I happened to pass by a well-stocked perfumery, the thought of NAXOS immediately crossed my mind!
I absolutely wanted to test the alpha male. I was really excited and curious. Upon entering, I briefly thought of L'IMMENSITÉ but knew it would soon fade away anyway.
Well, the nice lady sprayed two sprays on my wrist...
My first thought was, how can this be the alpha male!
A honey bomb like at a bad Chinese restaurant where they dip their fried bananas in too much honey to cover up the old greasy taste...
I must also say that I prefer fresher, sporty scents.
I said goodbye to the perfumery to take a breath and clear my nose. My mood was a bit down as I had really expected more. After about an hour, I was having a bite to eat with my colleague, coincidentally at a Chinese restaurant :)
That's when it started; I constantly had a very pleasant honey tobacco vanilla trail in my nose!
I had to sniff my wrist every few minutes. I couldn't understand it; just a moment ago it was too much for me, somehow annoying and not to my taste, and now I couldn't get enough of it.
In the evening, I decided to get the bottle (it reminds me of the practice hand grenades from the army).
I haven't regretted it!
It keeps getting more pleasant and wonderful; one feels simply good with it.
