On the Hunt
First of all: I usually have a hard time with citrus scents, as they quickly become too masculine for me and I have a panicked fear of toilet blocks. I am in my early 20s and don't want to smell like a "man," let alone a toilet block.
When I first smelled this fragrance, I knew it was not one of those scents.
It starts off very fruity, with a mix of citrus fruits and ginger. However, the ever-present, casual sweetness means that at no moment do I feel the scent could become too masculine for me. For me, it is a perfectly balanced unisex fragrance.
I had never smelled a perfume that supposedly contains a "ginger" note before. But I quickly realized that I seem to be a fan of exactly this note.
This impression intensified when I later received a sample of "Vibrato | Sospiro."
On the Vibrato site, Ingenious Ginger is listed among similar scents but comes in at the back of the list. Therefore, I overlooked it.
When I sprayed it for the first time, however, Ingenious Ginger immediately came to mind.
To me, the two fragrances smell very similar and I like both because of the same ginger DNA.
Maybe I have found my summer scent. It will definitely accompany me through the next summer! :)
