Creamy white flowers in dessert
I really struggled to write this review because this was about a blind commentary. Dear First had this idea for a walking review. There were 7 scents for me to choose from and I went back and forth on which one to pick. Because maybe I would embarrass myself or totally misjudge the scents. I think everyone who has ever tested blind knows that. I would have preferred probably taken the fragrance, with which I was most confident with the fragrance notes.
I even asked my boyfriend for an assessment of which scent suits me for him (since he has no idea about fragrances he gives very objective advice, which is very helpful) and he chose this one and a second one. Since the point here was that the fragrance should touch you personally, I finally decided on this one.

For me, this fragrance is a gourmand floral, a category I don't own much in yet. So I'm all the more curious to see the resolution at the end.
It starts with a slightly fruity-citrusy top note, I think it might be either orange blossom or tangerine. However, this is immediately underpinned by a really great white flower note, very opulent, just how I like it. I would guess something like tuberose or a magnolia here. Jasmine sambac also briefly came to mind.
This is then joined by something almondy, my guess would go in the direction of almond blossom. Since I know many scents with almond the marzipaniger are, here, however, the almond is slightly sweet but floral.
In addition, there is then a sweet note, where I suspect it is vanilla or even more tonka bean. After that, the fragrance does not change further, which I find wonderful. One smells the components until the end well out.
It is very feminine, sensual and creamy for me. I have started to win him very dear.
I would like to thank you at this point again many times for this great opportunity of testing

Well, I'll drop the bomb on you...
Because this scent changed my life and I really need to pass this knowledge on to you.
I never believed that there is something like a fragrance that wears times as an aphrodisiac for sex. But then I was presented by the dear Nico this fragrance.

First I decided to test the fragrance for me alone, quietly, a bit curious and did not dare to carry him out.
On this first occasion, I consciously noticed how beautifully my beloved rose was incorporated here again. With a beautiful sweetness of vanilla and chocolate, but never sticking out. The rose is ensnared by the Thai oud and a beautiful patchouli note.
A slight not unpleasant dirty sweat note resonates, which I associate very strongly with the smell during sexual intercourse. The one perceives, however, only if one is very close to the skin.
After a few hours of wear, the oud-ambra drydown note develops again very intensively and rises again and again in my nose. I love this part of the fragrance.

But now comes the part where I decided to share the scent with my boyfriend. And let me tell you my dear ones: your partner won't know where his/her head is anymore. They kept smelling the places where the scent was and emphasizing how good I smell. I myself have perceived the scent by sweating again much more clearly more intense and also dirtier.
And something must be discharged in the process, that the scent completely transforms afterwards. It becomes powdery, cuddly and the rose shows its wonderfully tame side. I feel safe in their embrace, want to fall asleep and dream of a bath in rose petals.

Want to breathe fresh air back into your relationship or just pamper yourself? Try Onyx. It's an order!

I can't imagine my life without him!

Camouflage is everything
So where do I begin with this fragrance...
He surprised me and at the same time a little disappointed, but I think the main property of a Chameleon is to fascinate. And I guess he has that. I tested the fragrance several times to make sure what I was smelling.

You're almost hit right at the beginning by a colorful mix of sour citrus, sweet fruits and florals.... but it is very difficult to define which notes it is. I smell a very strong frangipani jasmine blend right after this opening also here I can't differentiate the rest of the fragrance notes, remotely maybe coconut. I like this part of the scent. I can't connect it to a chameleon though. But maybe that's because I've never smelled one before. ;)
The closest thing I can associate with the little animal, however, is the base. I smell something sandy... warm and woody.
But the main reason (why I also tested the scent several times) is that the base melts 1:1 with the skin, it's not that I don't smell anything anymore. But it's like the scent has crawled into my subcutis and bonded with it. Just the way a chameleon would camouflage itself in its natural environment. This scent is as soft as clouds, as intangible as sunlight and has a very attractive effect on me without really being there. Like invisible ink, as if it's under a camouflage cloak. I've never had something similar in a fragrance before and it intrigued me.

Which is why, again, I have to say "kudos" the makers of this series are really putting their money where their mouth is. For me, this shows the greatest kind of perfume art.

Colorful flower meadow
First of all, thank you to dear Embla for letting me test this fragrance thanks to her rambling letter! *_*

I personally always perceive the bee as a very warm and sunny little animal. That was also perfectly packaged into a scent here for my taste. I am so surprised at the variability of this scent.... i was more or less expecting a honeycomb scent.
But what do you get?

In the first moment I'm in the middle of the hive and must think of an old N64 Game (Banjo and Kazooie) in which you always get extra honeycomb (life energy) at the bee in the hive. And you can smell it. Waxy but still sugary honeycomb. The fragrance royal jelly is interesting, because royal jelly also has wonderful anti-ageing and also health-promoting property.

The bee then makes its way out of the hive to the flower meadow. The sun is shining, flowers are in all bright colors in the meadow and the bee is humming happily. I imagine that these are many colorful wildflowers, at the edge there are still some forsythia bushes and cherry blossom trees in full splendor. The bee is busy collecting its pollen and large pollen grains are already accumulating on its hind legs.

Nearby, a meadow somewhere is freshly mowed and the light breeze carries the scent over.

The day has been long and tiring for the bee, the sun is sinking lower and a sweet warmth is spreading on the bee's wings. Now she knows it is time to return to the hive. A warm woodiness streams from the hive and the sweet note of honey radiates a faint note of clay from afar.
Comfortable warmth welcomes the bee back to the hive.

A successful day in the flower meadow comes to an end

My cuddly monsieur
So this is the second review of fragrances I've had in my collection for a long time, but never wrote anything about. Yes out of reverence for them, because they touched me so.
This one is also my first fragrance I ever bought from Penhaligon's.
My fragrance journey with Penhaligon's began when I first visited my girlfriend in London. I arrived at her place only towards evening and we still decided to walk around Picadilly Circus/Soho for a bit. As luck would have it, we also walked across Regent Street, which was beautifully lit up for Christmas. Across the street, I saw a shop that caught my attention because it had such beautifully decorated windows. We took a closer look at the shop and sniffed, through the closed shop door, various fine fragrances.
There we would have to absolutely times there, if it had opened...we decided.
For the next day was planned to go to Jo Malone to sniff a few fragrances that are in Germany DC and only in the flagship store on Regent Street to have. (The store of the previous evening had slipped in the memory again quite far to the back)
But as luck would have it, we walked out of the Jo Malone store further to the left up the street until we suddenly smelled a beautiful scent. I said to my friend, "Do you smell that? What is that?" and my friend "Yes it is beautiful and appealing"
We turned around and saw: the shop from the night before! And it was now open. So we went straight inside. The scent practically drew us in. We met a wonderfully good-humored salesman, who took us on the most beautiful Penhaligon's fragrance stories and explained them so wonderfully vividly that we stayed there for 1 hour and sniffed and listened as if spellbound. But one of these many had conquered my ♡. And that was the dear and cuddly Monsieur Beauregard.
(Fun fact: I used to, and still do, love to cuddle with our chickens or roosters)
Since cuddly men have it very easy with me, he had to come with me, there was no way around it. He was no longer out of my head. And so began a great love story with Penhaligon's.

To the fragrance:
He triggers in me the feeling of security and well-being. I wear it mostly on rainy days, when I need the comfort the most. Upon spraying it on, the wonderful powdery scent of iris immediately unfolds accompanied by the freshness of pink pepper. Benzoin joins in and soothes my soul. My head switches off. As it progresses, sandalwood joins in and it feels like I'm wrapping myself in a big cashmere scarf. In the base, tonka bean rounds everything out beautifully. It takes on a slight sweetness.... i notice this scent very well throughout the day. Unisex!

He is just a soul comforter and I am so glad we found each other.
The fragrance that led us to Penhaligon's was Halfeti, by the way, which I still don't own. Why I actually do not know myself exactly. But one should always keep a few beauties in the backhand.
Whoever has read this far: Thanks for reading my reviews!
Kiss goes out!
See you soon
