Don't blow me away
I can smell the pepper and sage very strongly in the opening. I don't find the scent in the opening particularly strong. I sprayed about 10 sprays and hardly noticed it. I've done this three times now and always had the same feeling: I can smell it a little at first, but then very quickly I can barely smell it. I don't know if it's just me.
The black pepper reminded me a lot of spicebomb extreme. However, the gentle sage makes it less sharp and "aggressive" than spicebomb.
I find that the fragrance becomes very subtle and subtle very quickly afterwards. I hardly smell it anymore. Maybe it's just me.
All in all, I find the fragrance somewhat unspectacular. Rather boring. Nothing extraordinary that excites me. The fragrance is basically okay to pleasant, but personally doesn't knock my socks off. I like others much better.

Great fragrance but cheeky performance
Fragrance:
Extremely fresh and zingy. At the beginning, it really smells to me as if someone had squeezed a lemon under my nose - in a pleasant way. Then it becomes creamier. I think it's very cool that the fragrance is not linear and a bit more complex.
Performance:
Very strong in the first 30/60 minutes and also feels very projecting, but then weakens noticeably until it can only be smelled close to the skin for a few hours after about three to four hours. You really have to overspray.
Conclusion:
Very cool fragrance, but with the performance and the price, it's not worth it in my eyes.

Warum der Hype?
Da "Le Mâle Elixir | Jean Paul Gaultier" gefühlt doch sehr gehyped wird, habe ich mir einen Tester geholt. Bin eher etwas enttäuscht -- hätte bei dem Hype mehr erwartet.
Ich finde es ziemlich eindimensional. Anfangs extrem extrem süß, danach entwickelt er sich für meinen Geschmack in eine tendenziell frischere Richtung. Ich rieche primär die süße Tonka und die Minze raus. Wobei ich die Minze (frische) erst mit der Zeit stärker wahrnehme -- nicht so sehr am Anfang.
Finde den Duft grundsätzlich gut, aber nicht besonders. Andere gefallen mir das besser ( "Eros Parfum | Versace" , "1 Million Elixir | Paco Rabanne") Dieser ist einfach so verdammt eindimensional und unbesonders -- für meinen Geschmack.
Auf jeden Fall muss man sagen, dass es lange hält und gefühlt auch eine größere Projektion/Sillage hat. Zwei Sprüher am Hals sorgen schon für ordentlich Dampf. Für das Büro meiner Meinung nach bereits zu stark. Auf meiner Haut habe ich es bei sechs Sprühern noch bis zum nächsten Tag riechen können, wenn natürlich auch nur schwach.
Die Flasche, muss man sagen, ist ein echter Hingucker!

Relaxing, warm vanilla with patchouli
