A New Dimension of Woody Fougère: The “Primo” Eau de Parfum by Trussardi

A New Dimension of Woody Fougère: The “Primo” Eau de Parfum by Trussardi

The Italian luxury label Trussardi presents "Primo", a new men's fragrance that captures the untamed power of nature and the beauty of volcanic landscapes.

From the heart of the earth springs a primitive and powerful treasure: Trussardi Primo, a tribute to resilient and explosive masculinity, dedicated to an intrepid and confident man, a pioneer of a new world. It is the fiery, auspicious dawn of a new day on a volcanic island.

The fragrance journey of "Primo" begins with the warm sweetness of maple syrup, accompanied by tangy grapefruit and smoky lava notes. At the heart, the floral note of bourbon rose geranium blends with the vanilla creaminess of tonka bean absolute, infused with the spicy heat of Calabrian chili peppers. The composition is rounded off with a warm blend of sandalwood and cedarwood, supported by the earthy, smoky nuance of Sumatran patchouli.

Trussardi

Founded in Bergamo in 1911 by Dante Trussardi, the luxury label began with the production of exquisite leather goods. In the 1980s, his grandson Nicola took over the creative direction and transformed Trussardi with innovative design projects for airlines and car manufacturers. Under his leadership, the once small glove manufacturer grew into an internationally recognized brand.

Today, Trussardi, managed by Sebastian Suhl, is represented by around 180 boutiques around the world. The company continues to be an important player in the fashion world and focuses on the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.

The new fragrance is available in bottle sizes of 30, 50 and 100 ml.

Interesting, although I have no idea what lava smells like. ;) Gradient bottle is interesting. I go between "wow, that's cool and looks like glowing lava" to "hmmm, did they borrow that from the set of the original Star Trek series." hahaha.

Dry lava smells very dry and mineral. Hot lava (which I have smelled once) is a bit sulfury and toxics. But this is my experience. I have no idea how this translates to fragrance!
