For Lorenzo Pazzaglia, Ischia was not just a destination: it was the place where time stood still, where every moment spent with his father became an eternity. The laughter in the sun-drenched alleyways, the barefoot races on the beach, the sea that sang secrets just for them... they were simple moments, but so full of love that they became sacred.
Years later, it is Marco who rekindles this spark with his sincere love for this enchanted island.

"Green Island" starts with a fresh, aromatic top note of yuzu, mandarin, bergamot and pink grapefruit, accompanied by candied lemon peel, ginger, cardamom and pink pepper. Notes of cinnamon, juniper and absinthe lend additional depth to the opening.

Aquatic accords dominate the heart, combined with cool peppermint, lotus and a hint of gin. There are also green and floral nuances of prickly pear, myrtle, rose and white flowers. Caper flower, clover seed and red tea add herbal and slightly salty accents.

The base is characterized by woody, warm notes: Cedarwood, maritime pine, vetiver and oakmoss lend depth to the fragrance, while patchouli, ambergris and tonka bean provide a soft, balsamic finish. 

A memory of Ischia that has become a fragrance

Ischia is the largest island in the Gulf of Naples at around 30 kilometers from the mainland. It is famous for its hot thermal springs, volcanic landscape and mild Mediterranean climate. It owes its nickname "Green Island" to its rich vegetation and its almost untouched, natural character.

For Lorenzo Pazzaglia, Ischia is closely associated with his childhood: with the scent of sun-ripened citrus fruits, salty sea breezes and wild herbs in the summer heat. He wanted to capture all these impressions in the perfume "Green Island", which is part of the Reserved Perfumery Collection.

About Lorenzo Pazzaglia

Lorenzo Pazzaglia, the founder of the eponymous label, comes from the Italian region of Marche. Growing up among sea breezes, wild herbs and his family's kitchen, he developed a keen sense for aromas at a young age - first as a chef and later as a perfumer. 

In 2021, he finally founded his own fragrance brand. His creations are intense, full of character and always narrative. Whether salty-fresh like "Black Sea", gourmand-spicy like "Carbonara" or floral-fruity like "Passion Rose" - each fragrance bears his signature and tells a story.
