To capture the scent of the forest, the composition opens with a green and spicy top note of fresh cardamom, cypress and nutmeg. A powdery musky heart then develops, interwoven with floral nuances of bourbon rose geranium, lavender and leathery tones of red algae. The powerful vetiver base with delicate, dry facets intensifies the musky fragrance, rounded off with warm notes of cedarwood and patchouli.

As the child of Cuban immigrants in New Jersey, Rodriguez experienced a fusion of cultures and influences that paved the way for his later artistic career.
