Rose, Leather, and Oud: The New "London Confidential" Eau de Parfum From Givenchy

As an olfactory ode to the atmosphere of the French fashion house's first London boutique, Givenchy presents the oriental-floral fragrance "London Confidential".

With its new perfume, Givenchy is revisiting a chapter in its brand history: London was one of the first important international locations for the fashion house founded in Paris in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy, which became known for combining couture, elegance, and modern style.

The new fragrance "London Confidential" refers to the former Givenchy boutique in London's Harrods department store in the Knightsbridge district—a place where British nobility and French haute couture came together.

The top note of the composition is dominated by the fresh, green nuance of blackcurrant buds. This is followed in the heart by Damask rose absolute, whose floral depth blends with a striking leather facet: a nod to the classic Chesterfield sofas that were long part of the boutique's interior. Finally, the warm, dark depth of Oud Assafi™ unfolds in the base note, giving the composition an intense, long-lasting finish.

A new member of "La Collection Particulière"

"London Confidential" complements the "La Collection Particulière" line from Givenchy. The collection is inspired by the lifestyle and environment that shaped Hubert de Givenchy: from his Parisian Hôtel Particulier to his haute couture and the people who accompanied and inspired him.

The line includes "Noctambule", a composition of Grasse rose, papyrus root, and oud, "Trouble-Fête," a fragrance with notes of fig leaf, sambac jasmine, and incense, and "Accord Particulier," a modern interpretation of the chypre type with rose, patchouli, and ambroxan.

The new fragrance is available exclusively at Harrods in a 100 ml bottle.
