You have to hand it to Xerjoff, they simply create great perfumes. The description caught my attention: honey, salt, woody, sweet and aquatic.

Sounds interesting, I have to try it, I thought to myself and ordered a sample. What can I say, rays of sunshine come out of the bottle with the first spray. It puts you in a good mood and makes you think of the sea, summer and vacation.

A salty honey note with sea air immediately hits the nose. Paired with a luxurious sun cream. Very pleasant, soft and totally balanced. The aquatic finish rounds it off.

It reminds me slightly of Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum. Except that I see it more as a women's fragrance. Everyone can wear the "40 Knots | XerJoff", slightly more in the masculine direction but not much.

You can only like it, an everybody's darling. Definitely even more of a board in summer. The perfume puts a smile on my face and I'm looking forward to my next vacation. It has to be there ....without ifs and buts.

Those who like heavy fragrances will certainly like it. It starts with a heavy oriental sweetness, very gourmand and with nutty nuances. The nutmeg is clearly noticeable, as are almond notes.

The fragrance is quite powerful and heavy. You have to like it. I don't think you can wear it all the time because it's very special. I can only wear it for 1 or 2 days in a row and then I need a break again.

I also somehow associate the fragrance with a crisp, cold day at the Christmas market, with a mulled wine in my hand. For me, it's also a very clear winter perfume.

The durability and sillage are very good. Also more of a masculine fragrance. Even if it is not an everyday perfume, a top creation from Tom Ford.

First of all, this is my first designer perfume in a long time but it really caught me. BOSS fragrances have never been my thing, which doesn't mean I think they're bad. They are solid flankers that appeal to most people. It's all a matter of taste, but none of them really made me want to buy them. This has changed with the Elixir.

I heard, read and saw a lot. Then I tested a sample myself and wow, this is a BOSS fragrance.... incredible.
I was skeptical about the incense but it makes it so incredibly good and interesting. When you first spray it, you get a dark spicy and strong and slightly sweet incense note. Totally interesting and different. Then come various dirty smoky woods (in a positive sense). Cardamom and a sweet resinous note finish the whole thing, well what do you mean.....

The Boss Bottled Elixir has mega longevity and sillage. It stays on the skin and clothing for a very, very long time, so you don't need much. Sometimes less is more, and that really applies here. 3 sprays last forever, up to 10 hours is no problem.

The Elixir is clearly a winter perfume, for cold, beautiful days and for men over 35.

We went to an upscale wellness hotel yesterday. We had a nice dinner there in the evening and the atmosphere matched the scent perfectly. The room had lots of dark wood panelling, green walls, old chandeliers...

The perfumers have really created something great, absolutely top. If you didn't know it, it could be in the niches.

I got it for just under 72€ / 100ML on offer, a great price for such a fragrance.

Chapeau BOSS

I find the fragrance very complex. It starts fresh, fruity green. Slightly aquatic with a certain spiciness that only comes through later. The synthetics are just right, as is the sweetness. Not too strong, just right.

Since the fragrance has many facets, it is not a pure winter fragrance for me. you can also wear it on warmer fall days, or in spring when it is already a bit more pleasant.

It is also not too heavy and great to wear in everyday life. It also cuts a fine figure when going out or in the evening.

For me, it's clearly an all-rounder that almost always fits. Price / performance is also top. A clear recommendation from me.
