Glue, hospital and Sagrotan
I have to say, I have mixed feelings about this fragrance.
I think the DNA is great. The fragrance is really nice and dry. It's medicinal and woody, the oud is also very noticeable.

It's fun to wear if you like fragrances like this.
This fragrance is not a crowd pleaser, that should be equally clear, the hospital association can be quite common with my environment, for example.

What bothers me, however, is something else. Gao gets on my skin surprisingly quickly and evaporates. My bottle is authentic, don't worry. I'm used to dosing my fragrances high, which is always met with feedback. No matter how I wear Gao, it doesn't perform the way I would want it to and doesn't radiate much either. I am surprised that it is sometimes described as a Beast Mode fragrance, because in my opinion it is not that at all. For me, the performance can at best be described as good.

The walk into the grandparents' cellar
I have to say, I still find the house of Histoire de Parfums extremely underrated.

In fact, my first point of contact with the brand was also this fragrance.

Phew, Marquis de Sade, the name suggests a lot.
But beware, you shouldn't be fooled by the name under any circumstances.

In my opinion, MDS starts off surprisingly warm and spicy. It is almost as if the fragrance completely envelops the wearer, but in a positive way. I only barely notice bergamot, but all the more leather and patchouli the more time passes..
The fragrance becomes darker and spicier over time, it seems to me as if the sillage is developing more and more strongly, quasi anti-cyclical, at least that's what some people around me have told me.
The woods join in, the fragrance still radiates brutally, but not penetratingly. I still smell it myself.
And then it comes, the association with the cellar, a pleasant "mustiness", if you can call it that.

On the whole, the fragrance was perceived as positive in my environment.
H/S are very good, it lasts a very long time and is also perceptible for more than just an arm's length.
I really enjoy it.

Rudis, the incense burning wooden sword
Rudis, the wooden sword, that's how Nobile describes it itself and it can be read on the nice "package insert". First of all, the unboxing experience is great with this fragrance. Although the packaging is not extremely elaborate, you can already see the extreme attention to detail and the high quality.

Now to the fragrance. Rudis starts off very spicy in my opinion. My circle of friends once used the term "cabanossi". I can't really subscribe to this myself, but I can understand where the idea comes from, as the extremely smoky aroma comes to the fore right from the start. The spicy saffron and cedar join in.

Finally, leather, woods and musk pile up. The patchouli adds a certain cellar note, as I perceive it.

Longevity and sillage are great, the fragrance radiates outwards very well and is perceived. However, it is not a compliment magnet and you have to love the DNA for yourself to wear the fragrance.

I enjoy it and am happy to recommend it to others. The price is really reasonable for the quality.

Beast
The fragrance is definitely not for the faint-hearted in any respect.
If you follow Gebauer for a while and take a look at his favorite fragrances, you can at least get an idea of the direction it will take.

The Air Tiger is certainly the most unconventional of the Gebauer fragrances and also the first one.

This is not a fragrance that aims to please. I think that limits the circle of potential wearers. Air Tiger polarizes, not necessarily positively, but it polarizes.

For people who have little or no interest in fragrances, it is too strong, too engaging, too penetrating, at least that was the feedback I received.

What can I say, I love the fragrance. I'm not interested in outside reactions, I wear it for myself and I really like it.

I have to admit that it is the strongest fragrance I know. It projects incredibly and lasts forever.

The spray head dispenses extremely generously, which makes it tricky to apply if you don't want to take over the whole room fragrance-wise.

The fragrance opens with a noticeable lemon at first, but it quickly becomes very spicy. I would also say that it doesn't change much over time. The spiciness and the woods come to the fore and no perfume in the room, no matter how strong it is, can outdo you, I would say. How you find it is up to you.

In my opinion, the bottle is unfairly criticized. At this price, priority was given to the content, which is clearly noticeable!
Apart from that, it is probably the same production as for Ugolini, which makes sense.
Of course, a bottle can also be decorative, but I have to say that for me the fragrance is the most important thing and in this case it is beyond any doubt for me.

I definitely recommend getting a sample first or testing the fragrance in the newly opened Gebauer store in Düsseldorf.
