When I smelled it again months ago, one thing became clear to me - you will keep it until never-never, hoard it and - if necessary - have it remixed when it has entered the eternal perfume grounds.

Blue Jeans has for me the ultimate memory factor on board, namely the underground club - life from the 90s. There was an underground techno club in my town at the time, called Passarella Club and the UnsichtBar (a location) and that's exactly what he reminds me of. As soon as you came into Room 2 (behind the curtain) and approached the bar towards the DJ Lounge, there it was - the jeans scent in blue from Versace. Probably one of the waitresses or one of the resident DJs at the time was so indulging in the fragrance that it filled the room and was present for a whole night. Nowadays dimmed according to other statements, but still unmistakable for me. And that's why - I can't get rid of it, just like the Dreamer from the same perfumer, which I find just as great and magical. I have it at Travallo and use it as summer day and evening fragrance

I was delighted when the Versace house decided to create a flanker to Eros. I had already liked the original version, only the fragrance entry had been a bit too much for me, I don't know. Besides, for me it was a pure out-scent. This one is rounder, fruity and fresh there as well, so the sweetness fits a bit more into the overall picture. You can wear it in reasonable doses in everyday life, because it is very pleasing but not boring. For me, the worst thing about a perfume is that I want to have the whole series ;) when I think it's totally good, and of course I had to go for Eros Flame again. I just love to surround myself from front to back with a fragrance that suits me and stimulates my fantasy even more. Thanks to the poison set I also have the Aftershave Balsam, which smells good and also cares for me. I don't always use all products, but on special days I can really enjoy it to let a fragrance take effect on me already while showering and then continue with the rest of the program. I think that every manufacturer should consider this and offer such a complete care series for a fragrance. This is additional income and many, like me, would enjoy it.

Eros Flame is not as animalistic as the original version in cyan, but it has the more beautiful fruits and something creamy on top. The tangerine is delicious to fool around with, the composition seems well balanced and - yes, there were compliments for the fragrance and not too tight. With Eros Flame, you're surrounded by a pleasant, sensual fragrance that is pleasing, but never boring, because the composition is simply beautiful from head to toe. From the persistence he gets a well-deserved 10 from me, the sillage is good, one is noticed and it is not obtrusive. With the first Eros there was also a kind of penetrance, but he probably needed that to be able to assert himself as a proclaimed party companion against other smells. I don't think Eros Flame is so suitable for the very young men, because it has a somewhat more subtle, mature sensuality, so I would say it is more suitable for the generation over 30+.

In my childhood there was once a play based on Erich Kästner "Der 35. Mai oder Konrad reitet in die Südsee". The play stimulated the child's imagination and was written by a truly legendary writer. In a small theatre in Mülheim/Ruhr in the early 80s, a primary school class experienced the adventures of Konrad and his confederates in his very own fantasy world.
But now to the fragrance itself and why I associate it with it. We all know by now that smells can trigger something in you: Memories, pictures of places, feelings etc. This is just the beautiful and magical thing that will probably connect us forever with the waters. Everyone will judge this for themselves and on their own. Davidoff Cool Water Intense comes discreetly in a familiar bottle reminiscent of an 80s product. The application is easy and after a few sprays you are in the place of your dreams, like Konrad or Erich Kästner ^^

The amber is present almost from the very beginning and always blends in with the slightly fruity, fresh note of the green mandarin, which I emphatically perceive as a citrus figure, but which nevertheless becomes identifiable to me as a real, well-known fruit, as I do not know it in real life. The coconut water sloshes a bit in the background, if you know it, you can see it - the notes are too much intertwined for that. At least I am not overwhelmed by the synthetics and I have to give CW Intense the rating "VALUE FULL" in large, because it can do something and does not have to hide from other scents of big houses. I wish there was a deodorant, AS and shower gel, which would enhance and complete the new one even more. By the way, an old school vibe is definitely there (this has been written about in other commissions).

The fragrance is sometimes compared with MB Individual. It is similar for me, but has a different appeal and character, which makes the overall picture and the fragrance different. For example, the raspberry and juniper at MB. Joop! There's something magical about Homme that's hard to grasp. Slightly wilted flowers - almost beautifully dark, gothic like and of course the totalitarian cherry note. All in all I think they are the opposites - dark, mystical but also open-minded, life-affirming and "ready". The part is unique and will probably never (hopefully) disappear. I have known it since the Graenzgang, i.e. the end of the 80s to the 90s, and I really have to say that a timeless masterpiece has been created here and (if you are my age) one likes to remember the times. There was the 80s with a creative explosion, which brought music, fashion and lifestyle. Then there was a little stop and then came the 90s with lots of electronic music, new attitude - Love, Peace & Unity. Until about the middle of that time it was a celebration for me and also for many others from that time. After that, there was some kind of suspension of greed and decline, in the whirlpool of which we now find ourselves. Those are just my thoughts on the matter. I wish you a successful 2020 with many new and positive experiences.

No, Creed can't help it, but his popularity is both a curse and a blessing. Others have too. The partly bold copies became better and better and eventually one ends up with such a fragrance in the mainstream. What's more: No, I don't want him to feel "have to" smell at everyone. Especially not to guys whose "craft" and attitude towards women I don't value at all, to put it diplomatically. Time was beautiful, but nothing lasts forever...
