Hi everyone,

I am a total fragrance fan and always on the lookout for new great scents (otherwise I probably wouldn't be here :D)

Profumum Roma has been available in a high-end perfumery here in Cologne for a few years now, but I only recently became interested in it.

I tested all the bestsellers and after one spritz on my skin I was very, very sure I wanted to take Dolce Acqua with me! But I gave it a 1-day sample on the back of my hand and headed off to work... where I was in for a shock: 3 colleagues independently told me that I smelled like woodruff flimm... And as it happens, this association was burned into my mind and from that point on, unfortunately, it was over with marzipan tarts, I only smelled the flimm -.-

Yesterday I also went back to the perfumery I trust and wanted to take another closer look at Zucchero, Vanitas and Confetto, Zucchero and Confetto landed on my skin, unfortunately Vanitas wasn't it, I have extreme problems with woody fragrances and this immediately radiated from me, too bad...

The Zucchero was too much even for me as a sweet tooth and was sold out 5 minutes before I arrived... I don't regret this, as it seemed too artificial on my skin without depth etc., simply a fragrance that you spray on but which doesn't seem to connect...

Let's finally get to Confetto: On the sweet pink feather rather unimpressive for me... On the skin after a few minutes a pleasure. What I described above was the exact opposite with Confetto: the fragrance melted into my skin...

If I hadn't read here beforehand that it is often compared to Hypnotic Poison, I wouldn't really have made the connection and believe me: I know Hypnotic Poison inside out, it was my signature for YEARS, even if that was a long time ago...

So where does this almost twin comparison come from? Of course, the fragrance notes play a big role here, and I can also understand the "vibe", but HP has developed over the years into a pure sugar water for me, which comes across as very clumsy....

ALL that is not Confetto, it has so much depth, is absolutely classy, creamy and anything but clumsy, a real non-scent and you notice that pretty quickly with the finesse and sophistication!

Everything has already been said about the H&S, a cracker!

So after a few hours of testing, I decided to let it move in :)

At home, of course, I made a direct comparison between the fragrances... And no, no.... As I said, the direction, the vibe, everything is understandable... Unfortunately, Dior lacks pretty much everything that Confetto brings with it. In terms of quality, there are small worlds between them, even in terms of money... Confetto gives me back what Dior lost after around 18 years... I no longer know what the original fragrance smelled like, but the one today has rather little to do with Confetto and even less to do with the HP of that time.

I will still test the Vanitas and Fundo on my skin on my next visit ;-)

I have now been allowed to test some Montaledüfte with us in Cologne :-) so I was on the day in question again in the perfumery and wanted to take the vanilla firecracker of Montale times under the magnifying glass, including Vanille Absolu! The seller sprayed with Freudeerwartend the fragrance on a feather and I have almost NOTHING can perceive, all other scents I have been able to perceive. So she even exchanged the tester, again the same! Was my nose overwhelmed?!? Everything else I could smell yet?!? So I sprayed the scent on the back of my hand, went out to drink something and it took about an hour until I could even guess something.

About the scent: a synthetic vanilla smell, for me slightly burnt and unfortunately much too boring, as he may attract! Absolutely nothing special, which one would not have smelled before :( And not to speak of the poor sillage :/ Durability, however, as with all Montales known to me super :-)

But why I write this comment at all: has anyone with the fragrance also so problems with the sillage?! Just the Montales are but otherwise all total beasts (so the ones I own and have tested).

There's really not much more to say about this fragrance! Oh yes! Because I have my very own story to this specimen :)

My best friend from Trier visited me last Monday in Cologne and since we are both very interested in perfume and I found a store that also has Montale, we are there of course!

I had already been allowed to test some fragrances from Montale, as well as in my collection and Mukhallat was me of course also a term!
My girlfriend was very interested in the fragrance, I rather less, because I never thought that this would be something for me ;)

Well then we tested us through different houses, I also tested some unknown Montales (2 went on the day also me home) until I saw Mukhallat, he sprayed on a tester and held him Kathy under the nose! She was immediately blown away and I was transported back to my childhood! To me it smells original like Wrigleys extra for kids in the pink packaging! Wow I thought! But do I really want to smell like that!!?

Before we left the store, Kathy sprayed herself with the scent and we headed towards the train! Again and again came through the wind a scent surge to me over and I thought: ok so you MUST smell :-) I was now but very very taken and ordered it a day later!

Yesterday the good stuff arrived and I sprayed around 12:30 2 times on the back of my hand. Now we have 07:00 the next day and there is still a hint of fragrance!

So this fragrance does a great job in terms of durability and sillage! And you know what's the best part?! My girlfriend also received it yesterday and we now have a fragrance that will always remind and connect us to the other! We are so far away and yet so close now that we could share this fragrance experience together :-)

This fragrance is great LOVE for me and it makes perfect now in autumn / winter :-)

Hello dear ones,

i had Intense Café on my list for a very very long time. I drink coffee very much, but do I want to smell like that? I asked myself that for a very long time and therefore postponed the blind buy for a long time!

I became aware through Instagram on a store with me in Cologne, which actually carries Montale fragrances! So immediately there and sniffed the good piece ... I do not know to this day what was going on that day with me, but I have found the fragrance as very unpleasant and quickly crossed off my list again! Yes what can I say!!! He was not out of my head so again a few days later there and tested again! This time only came to me the coffee aroma! Uh no thanks, too much coffee! But had this fragrance + Sensual Instinct (also Montale) sprayed on the back of my hand!

I decided spontaneously for 2 other scents, was already on the way home by train, until I smelled both (about 30-40 minutes later) again!

And then what happened? I got off schnurrstraks and went around to exchange both fragrances (Dark purple as well as Crazy in love, also Montale) against the two on the back of my hand!

I can definitely advise everyone to test Montale fragrances 1. on the skin and 2. let them work real! The top note says nothing about the actual fragrance! I as a niche beginner have there probably just not yet the little hand! ;-)

I now come more specifically to the fragrance: what do I get with Montale intense Café? In the beginning definitely the full blast coffee! But the fragrance continues to evolve :-) the coffee remains consistent with me all the time, but becomes more delicate and it also comes out a wonderful rose (which I actually can not stand) but never becomes too much! No dry stale rose, but rather a rose syrup! The fragrance is in my opinion not too sweet and thus very much unisex, which I can not say of Sensual Instinct so! The is much more feminine for me! But of course everyone should wear what pleases!

I am in any case very much in love with intense Café and this will probably my autumn and winter fragrance!

Sillage and durability are also top! Sprayed on at noon, I could still guess him in the morning the next day :-)

Do not be afraid of the coffee, dare!

I bought this fragrance on great recommendations of my friend last year in April and actually immediately fell in love with this extraordinary fragrance (probably does that here among other things the chestnut). He is just creamy fresh, yet sweet enough and gives me a sense of well-being, if there were not this bland aftertaste...

I was freshly shipped to the home office by the pandemic and was walking a lot with my mom in the afternoon, wearing this scent all the time...

I have then very long not used him and thought so yes today, there you can use him again...

Well and also there are directly again these thoughts of the outbreak of the pandemic and the fear that one had just at the beginning.

I really like the fragrance, but I will probably always associate him with it and that's really too bad :(
