I wanted to test Sun Song for so long! But somehow I never got my hands on a sample! When I recently read that it was available again, I seized the opportunity! I hoped they would include a suitable sample with my order, but that was not the case! And since I was now impatient, I opened the bottle and sprayed it on. For me, Sun Song is exactly what I expect from a summer fragrance:
At first, there’s this slightly harsh citrus with the splashiness of Afternoon Swim! Lemon and neroli really kick in for the first 45 minutes, so you can draw parallels to Neroli Portofino and Acqua Viva! But what makes Sun Song different: after about 45 minutes, this creamy cleanliness comes in! Like being slathered in sunscreen on vacation! It stays like this all day, and it becomes calmer! Noticeable but calmer! But that’s exactly what I like about a summer fragrance! If you’re looking for edges and corners, or a sillage beast, you’ll search in vain here! On my skin, it was present for 4 hours and then became calmer and more enveloping, lasting about 9 hours! That’s enough for me! I don’t want an extreme sillage, and I’m not out for compliments on the bus and train either. For everyone who wants to stay in their bubble and smell clean neroli, it’s definitely worth a test!
Whether one wants to spend 300 euros on it is thankfully up to each person’s wallet. In this sense: here’s to a fresh summer!

I had read about this fragrance before, but I thought: phew orange blossom cocoa vanilla, that will be too sweet, and immediately dismissed the idea of testing it… however, I would like to explain how I ended up buying 100ml :) :
I was at my trusted perfumery, with the thought: I would like something with vanilla today! Dulcis in Fundo and Vanitas were immediately too sweet for me! Good but sweet! Do you know Battito d'Ali? I said no, spray it on me! He gifted me an 18ml traveler bottle! I sprayed it again and sat down on a bench in the old town! Well, I thought… not bad!! I was sitting there at 28 degrees, and I could hear the green leaves starting to dry (end of August) and suddenly got a wonderfully deep-rooted breeze in my nose through the wind… I knew right then and there that I was exactly where I needed to be, I didn’t have to search anymore and could finally say: everything is beautiful! Your life is grand and you have everything to be happy! This fragrance is like a meditation in my limbic system: a warm orange cream that is not too sweet, unites with the warming rays of vanilla! A slightly dry cocoa that is not defatted adds something cozy and grounding! It is creamy fresh, slightly sweet, and like sunscreen all in one! Now I have 100ml and will probably always have 100ml. It is more delicate than the other Profumums! It resonates more calmly and a bit reserved! I think it fits in every season: I especially look forward to wearing it when in November the fog hangs in the trees and the last leaf still tells stories of summer!

I tested New Look at the Breuniger counter… everything was kept white, and there stood a somewhat larger column in houndstooth pattern. According to opinions and descriptions, I was curious: frankincense combined with fresh laundry? That sounds really exciting to me and also somewhat fitting to my taste! When sprayed, I briefly smell frankincense and pepper and also a hint of fresh laundry. But then New Look leaves me perplexed! Somehow slightly biting and sharp and somehow lacking a soul... I have to think of the film Equals, where emotions are forbidden! Everyone is dressed in white! The furniture is chrome-plated and not even a cyclamen has a chance to grow out of the asphalt!
We no longer pray to our ancestors, but fully surrender to an AI, always with a bottle of New Look at hand, with which we have unlearned to laugh with love... monotonously monochrome into a new world and a new look!

I tested Aqua di sale and immediately bought it after 20 minutes. For me personally, the scent is everything I wish for and need in life. Freshly sprayed, it catapults me back to my youth: we were all by the lake, letting our skin dry in the sun, maybe sometimes a piece of algae on the shoulder blade, crumbly tea to drink, and a good pack of fresh waffles. I smell sun-dried skin with light sea vibes and also a slightly oily eucalyptus bath oil-like texture... a bit like throwing those fizzing bath tabs into the tub... I loved that as a child and teenager. In combination with my skin, it all just smells harmonious. Ethereal, oily, slightly medicinal, and a good portion of sea and minerals... This time, however, without the typical citrus suspects that usually come into play. The longevity is enormous: my jacket and hallway have been smelling of Aqua di sale for weeks! It definitely leaves traces, but not those of the Mediterranean and cocktail feeling, rather milky turquoise shimmering with morning mist and a lake where tourism is a foreign word...

I tested soavissima in June while on vacation... of course in 35 degrees under the blazing concrete sun and overdosed, soavissima radiated so strongly that even Marie Antoinette would have taken off her hat. But no worries! When well dosed, and by that I mean 2 sprays at most, you get an absolutely fine powdery cleanliness that reminds one of talcum and freshly cleaned creaminess... however, when overdosed, this fragrance brings forth the white tuff wigs! This indeed seems to be the powder grail as has already been written here!
In summary: when well dosed, a clean dream for everyone :-) thus it was allowed to move in as a 100ml bottle.
