Since I started exploring fragrances some time ago, I've been looking for a signature scent that fits me, my everyday life, and my style of clothing... A little elegant, long-lasting, rather chic, somewhat sporty...

That's how I stumbled upon Roberto Ugolini and 17 Rosso and ordered a small sample. After the first spray, a very prominent peach note came through immediately, something fresh, sweet, and a slightly woody rose...

I really liked the scent, as it is just as wearable with my suit as it is with a polo shirt, at the bank or in the evening at a restaurant... I can spray it on in the morning and enjoy it at the end of the day.

Now I'm ordering a bottle through the Souk and I read beforehand about some smoky, woody, and dark notes... In the sample, there was only a hint of that with a lot of imagination! My small criticism was actually that it comes across as a bit too sweet and fruity...

A few days later, I was able to receive the package, tested the perfume, and there they were... the fruity sweetness, rose, but also significantly more pronounced woody notes...
Maybe a perfume matures or changes its scent over time...

In any case, 17 Rosso now corresponds to the harmony and contrast I was looking for... A dream, and it has the potential to become "my" scent!

I recently acquired a small sample and would like to share my thoughts with you.
More specifically, I want to discuss my impression of who the fragrance suits and when one can wear it. My predecessor described the scent perfectly a few days ago, and I can only agree with the quality, longevity, and scent development… still, there is a "but"...

I find too few moments where I would want to wear this perfume. It is simply not an all-rounder for everyone and every occasion.
As a banker and suit wearer, or even in a white shirt, Orange Flamingo seems superfluous to me. People expect me to smell good, to be fresh and well-groomed anyway. The scent neither elevates nor emphasizes my professional daily life.
For a nice evening with friends, birthdays, or going out to eat, I want to look sharp, I’m freshly showered, and wearing clean clothes. Do I then have to spray on a fresh laundry deluxe scent to emphasize what is already part of the deal…. I don’t know….

On the other hand, I always have images in my head of where Orange Flamingo belongs.
On one hand, there’s “the student,” who smells as if grandma is doing the household for him or he wants to signal: “There’s no chaos in my shared apartment” :-)
It can be sprayed on over a hoodie when strolling through the city and chilling with the bros over a beer in the evening…. It doesn’t matter what the hoodie has already been through… You smell great…
Finally, of course, during sports. After an hour of cardio, I smelled as if I had been washed with Perwoll, while the guy next to me started to decompose… here, Orange Flamingo really came into its own… my gym scent…. Well dosed……

In short: for me, this composition is a very uncomplicated everyday scent, which, however, fits less into my life… Nevertheless, I will find use for the sample from time to time… perhaps even more on really hot summer days.

YouTube provides a lot of inspiration, and I kept hearing the word Kobe.
In search of a spring/summer fragrance, Uden caught my attention and I almost got stuck… a dream, if only Uden wouldn’t fly away so quickly. Uden Overdose is even more beautiful, intense, easy to love, and at least flatters me until after lunch… However, I work full-time. 40 Knots, despite the hype, unfortunately wasn’t for me, and Torino21 is too youthful for the office…
Then the Kobe sample arrived in the mail, and the excitement grew…
After the first spray, I was almost a bit startled… Wow, this has power, but does it smell good? Well…
Let’s give it a chance without immediately reaching for soap…
A fresh, strong orange/neroli note spread out, but somehow smoky, dirty, cool… An exciting character…
After a while, it became almost warming, sweet, woody… A date, two such different characters? What a contrast???

Yes, it was, and as a niche newcomer, I was amazed by the new experience of what fragrances can do. Thus, I had another date the following day; my enthusiasm was awakened.

On the second day, I repeated the process and enjoyed it from start to finish… Oh yes, Kobe works full-time, almost… So I can also get along with his hourly wage… After all, Kobe is not a cheap companion.
However, his universal usability speaks for him; he is definitely suitable for everyday wear on colder days and has the talent to wake you up quite a bit in the morning.

Admittedly, a few weeks ago I hadn't heard of the brand Xerjoff. Since there are only a few perfumeries in the area that carry this brand, I ordered a sample set. 3 days later, I was looking forward to the delivery. Here, you could offset the price against the actual order for up to 60 days, making the hurdle low.

I first sprayed Naxos on my skin and was immediately greeted by a slightly citrusy spiciness, which is covered by sweet honey.

After a while, tobacco joins in and the freshness fades... Together, the components combine into a perfect harmony that accompanies me all day long. 3 sprays are enough, and I am enveloped in a luxurious office aura.

Earlier, I visited the gym and pushed hard on the cardio machine. I felt like I was sweating out salty tobacco/honey... Even in that situation, Naxos is enjoyable.

I'm still not sure if the sweet scent will bring as much joy in the summer heat, but there are plenty of alternatives at Xerjoff for the next investment.

Ombre Nomade was my first perfume in the price range over 200 euros.

I was in the Louis Story and casually tested the perfume bottles. At first, I thought: Rituals Oud candle, which stands in my bathroom… nice, but nothing special….

I didn’t read any reviews beforehand and still took a sample with me. Sprayed at home, we wanted to go out to dinner with friends… In the car, the first compliment, at the restaurant from the waitress the second, in the cocktail bar the third.

I couldn’t shake the scent either. Even my bed linens smelled of the perfume the next morning…

And I started to love it…. Oud, smoke, leather, fruit, wood…. Not sweet, powerful and masculine…. Incredible….

Not an office scent, but perfect for going out, the trail follows after 3 sprays across the sidewalks, fills the club and the restaurant….

It should be noted that there are now many fakes and every wannabe smells like a cheap imitation… However, I think you can’t get close to the original….

Ombre Nomade is fun 24/7, can be refilled at a lower cost, and is my first-class scent.
