An Afternoon in the Café in Winter
As soon as the door to the café opens, an almost overwhelming sugary-sweet scent of pastries and vanilla greets us. Compared to the cold and fresh air that had just been playing around our noses, this is quite a challenge. But we quickly get used to the sweet aromas wafting from the bakery, and we feel comfortable and at home. Now and then, a few spices mix into the sugary sweetness, which by now is no longer so prominent. It somewhat reminds me of licorice, which I don't particularly like, but here it somehow fits well.
We lean back and enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere in the café. We don't stay too long, but perhaps we'll come back soon!

After I sprayed the fragrance, I was a bit worried that it might be too overpowering for me. The first five minutes felt very gourmand-sweet, bordering on headache territory. But then the scent calms down very quickly. It remains sweet, and a light spiciness is added, but now it is already significantly closer to the skin, which I find quite appealing for such sweet fragrances!
It doesn't last forever, but just long enough to provide cozy warmth for an extended walk in winter temperatures.

Where other gourmands hit with a sledgehammer, this one comes with a wool blanket and vanilla pastries.
I like it!

Innovative and Pleasing - A Fragrance for Everyone
What is the goal of a perfumer when creating a fragrance?
Should it be something completely new? Should it particularly showcase a concept? Should it convey a mood? Or should it simply appeal to the masses?

It’s probably not always easy to answer this question uniformly for every fragrance.
And it may not necessarily have to be (only) one goal that is pursued.

In this case, the fragrance definitely convinces in many ways!

I get an almost bitter, but by no means unpleasant note at the outset, which reminds me of coffee. It might be an unsweetened cocoa note. This note is present from then on until the base, but less as a main actor and much more as a tamer, keeping the following sweet notes (primarily coconut and tonka) in check. The sweet, gourmand notes can definitely show themselves, but they do not get out of control, which is why the fragrance is also well wearable at slightly warmer temperatures!
This phase lasts for about four hours.

In the drydown, a lightly sweet vanilla scent develops, which becomes somewhat closer to the skin, but still manages to impress the immediate surroundings.
The vanilla does not become heavy, but rather fluffy and a bit creamy. Really wonderful!

Joschka Klee has created a fragrance here that definitely stands out from the crowd while still functioning very well in social settings. Innovative yet pleasing indeed.

A fragrance that will surely find many admirers! Both among perfume enthusiasts and among people who simply enjoy being surrounded by beautiful and pleasant scents.

The Subtlety as the Greatest Strength
I had heard quite a bit about Naki before I finally tested it. Especially about the prominent peach note. I expected a scent that would be sweet and fruity-juicy. A squeaky and somewhat overloaded fragrance. But that is exactly what I did not get.
Certainly, the peach note is present from the very beginning. However, it is by no means intrusive. Rather, it blends almost seamlessly with subtle floral and, above all, green notes. Thus, a fragrance develops that immediately transports me to a flower meadow in spring at a pleasant 20 degrees. In my hand, a fresh peach. And specifically the fruit, not iced tea or anything similar. Just the natural fruit.
As it progresses, a subtle vanilla note is added, but it does not take center stage; it merely complements the existing notes. Dreamy!

We truly have a wonderful and natural fragrance for spring here! Fruity, but not too overpowering. The Naki does not want to scream "Here I am!" and that is its great strength! Because this way, all the notes shine perfectly!

Special Opening and Heavenly Drydown
First of all: I will try to describe the "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" without comparing it to the "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff." After all, you never know which of the two wonderful fragrances future perfume lovers will encounter first…

The "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" is for me a beautiful oud fragrance that strikes just the right balance between challenging and pleasing.
The challenge lies primarily in the opening. Here, one can definitely perceive a slight animalic note, which I personally do not find unpleasant at all. However, one should like oud. Alongside that, there is a certain freshness that I would attribute both to the apple and to the listed herbs and green notes. This slight freshness lingers in the fragrance for almost two hours. At its core, however, the scent is dominated by the now more woody-sweet oud.
And then the fragrance moves towards the grand finale: In the drydown, a beautiful and warm vanilla note gradually sneaks in. In the end, we have primarily a blend of woody oud, amber, and vanilla.
A dreamy fragrance for winter that is also well perceivable outdoors. Indoors, it should be applied with care.
It is also important to note: You should definitely test the "Alexandria Orientale | XerJoff" on the skin! The development does not come across nearly as well on the test strip.

Masterful composition around cherry and oud
Wow! What a fantastic perfume!
It's been a long time since a fragrance has captivated me so instantly like this one!
Incredibly pleasing, unique, and despite having two main players, truly multifaceted.

In the opening, I perceive an Amarena cherry. Sweet and fruity, but not overly done. The cherry is initially restrained by subtle incense and, over time, increasingly complemented by a slightly dark, but not at all animalistic oud. The cherry runs through the entire fragrance. The same goes for the oud after a good half hour. Nevertheless, nearly all other notes are perceptible throughout. Sometimes a slightly sweet woody sandalwood note, sometimes earthy patchouli… All notes work in a way to highlight the wonderful cherry-oud note and ensure that the fragrance, despite the two clearly recognizable main players, is by no means linear.
In the drydown, a slightly sweet vanilla note is added, which flows over the woody-fruity composition like a light and creamy vanilla sauce.

The fragrance is very well perceivable on the skin for at least 10 to 12 hours. For the first 6 to 7 hours, it projects really well without being intrusive.

I am truly thrilled and can only recommend testing this fragrance!
