Nebiru #24 comes with a sequel to last year's release of Agrias Vetiveris, the Agrias Vetiveris II, which opens with an intense citrus scent (especially ginger) that doesn't have that SWEET citrusy top note, but a rather dark spiciness due to the cardamom and the approaching tea
The fragrance starts intensely with lemon and above all bergamot, which is flanked by a clearly recognizable mandarin after 5-10 minutes. Another 10 minutes later, one of the 'stars' is added, which will remain for hours afterwards: The ginger.
In general, you notice that the top note does not end on a sweet note, such as a
Forever Love, but is spicy, almost "dark" or "tart". This is probably a harbinger of the tea.
30-60 minutes 'in' and ginger + tea are omnipresent. In the first half hour, the typical earthy-woody notes of the vetiver emerge, albeit somewhat more restrained and almost sweetish. Is it the hinoki wood that brings this sweet touch? The jasmine tea? No idea, never smelled the wood before. No matter. Smells totally great - that's what counts :D
After 1 hour at the latest, you have an intense mix of ginger, black tea and vetiver. Which of the 3 types of vetiver stands out more - no idea. Very few of us will have ever smelled any of these country-specific vetivers.
After 2-3 hours, the fragrance becomes more ethereal and slightly balsamic on my skin.
To put it too simply, it's almost blasphemy towards the many great ingredients, but for me the drydown is mainly composed of ginger, vetiver and a certain green "herbaceousness". By no means a bad/negative connotation - just broken down to the "true" 8-)

Conclusion:
As with almost all of the Nebirus fragrances I've had the pleasure of trying (namely
Ruby ,
Kenshitora ,
Floris Rex ,
Rosa Sequoyah and
Mandalay ), it is extremely difficult to describe these complex masterpieces, to smell every ingredient and to find a "flaw" somewhere in Frederic's 'fragrance matrix' ;-)
If you are looking for a unique, "dark green", fresh citrus scent based on vetiver, you will find it here. The DNA is unique, the quality of the materials is second to none and lasts EASY 10-12 hours on my skin.
The great thing about this Nebiru: it is quite "pleasing" and also absolutely everyday-friendly.
If you want a fresh, citrusy scent in spring/summer and are looking for a long-lasting monster, you'll get your money's worth here.
There are minus points for the relatively plain bottle (yes, of course, the lasered wooden plaque on the front is an absolute eye-catcher) for the price. I'll mention it once now, but I won't mention it again in the other reviews. Once is enough :D
Great fragrance, unreserved recommendation!
