This is how Elsa smells
Iris Dragées sounds daring. But who does not dare, who does not win!

Iris Dragées seems so simple according to the fragrance pyramid, but at the same time so absurd. Can this combination work? What has a dragée lost in a perfume?
One thing in advance: it works and "Dragée" is just brilliant.

I often have my problems with iris. Here it is wonderfully powdery WITHOUT being soapy. With Dragées is probably meant here an ice candy. This delicious sweet mentholigen addictive makers. Both scents are absolutely equal and combine to create such a sublime scent that is second to none. This is cool elegance that is already so frosty it sparkles. At the same time, despite the "coolness", the scent is not fresh, but rather sweet. I suspect behind this ambivalence the super fragrance note "Dragée" . Iris Dragées is definitely not a little girl scent. It was made for ice queens

Do I like you or not
I find with the fragrances of Dua often wins the Dua due to price performance. Here I'm not sure yet what prevails for me.

The Dua has in my case or for my nose the heart note of Oud Satin Mood hit 100%. These beautiful roses, which I can not get sick of smelling, although I do not like rose at all. The oud so soft, almost creamy. Great!
Unfortunately, that's about it. The Dua has no top notes or base like the original. However, these make the certain twist for me from.
Apparently, the original was reformulated and thus reduced the shelf life to 3 hours. At the same time, of course, the price has not been adjusted. Since the Dua can hold with at least 8 hours against.
The sillage is not to be despised with both fragrances, whereby one should not actually take more than one sprayer with the Dua.

I will use up my fillings and see if the better fragrance or the better price-performance ratio wins. In any case, the Dua is worth a test.

Time travel incl
It was supposed to be just a statement, but the characters are not nearly enough.
I was through with Montale. Too artificial, too acrid for my nose, and too weird for my skin chemistry. Then, in a wandering letter, a sample of Chypre Vanille happened to come my way. Another artificial bomb like that. Vanilla, too. I don't think this is going to work. I was expecting penetratingly sweet baking aroma.
I got a time travel. Zack, back to the late 90s. Where everything was shrill and artificial. But also beautiful.
Does anyone still know those little children's perfumes that looked like little sherbet candy canes? There were with me (and my girlfriends) in the Advent calendar. (Alternatively, the Hawaii Barbie perfume also goes. Had the same DNA ?)

To the fragrance itself:

The first half hour smells exactly like this children's perfume:

Childish, flowery sweet, artificial, retro. However, at the same time, Montale untypical, rather flat and not insanely loud / intrusive.
A Chypre typical beginning's not. Gives the fragrance pyramids already not here.

Then, however, comes the Chypreartige marvel. It becomes unsweet edgy. Can not describe it better, unfortunately.
Thus, the fragrance fits perfectly for me to hot summer days.

Although it is noted that the production is discontinued, you can still get the perfume at ALZD. Move-in date: coming soon.
