This fragrance was my signature scent for a while, but it's too special to have on all the time. In addition, I wear whenever possible and depending on the situation, condition and mood a different perfume, so it's hard for me to commit to one.
Life is simply too diverse for only one fragrance. One has already so his direction, but I also like to try out new things and you can also change his mind / expand.

Chanel is a world-class brand, it accompanies me alongside Lauder and Dior for many years, so many special fragrances have already been created. No. 5 is the classic, which I also own, but this one is very special.

It starts briefly with bergamot, florals as well as a slight citrusy freshness.
And then I'm standing in the forest. Only birch trees and delicate green around me. Wonderful. With extravagant, fine and noble leather boots I roam through a sun-drenched clearing. I have very fine, glove-soft leather on my feet - you can hardly feel them. Every now and then a blade of grass gets caught in my boot, and a rose actually poked me. But it was a wild one. Dewdrops reflected in its blossom.
(Jasmine and tangerine I can not perceive olfactory)

The fragrance is fine and noble, and although not stated in the fragrance pyramid, the leather notes predominate in a noble and unobtrusive elegance. I find suitable for both ladies and gentlemen.

An unsweet droplet for special occasions, if there should be the times sometime again.
Otherwise, the office becomes a leathery birch forest... ;-)

But then comes the saving hand, the saving look and the saving words - my boss stands next to me, looks me in the eye and says : " ... everything is only half as bad... They all just want to play... In a few weeks you'll understand everything and everything will be more normal... "
I croak some reply and wish for the final bell of the stock market to ring...

So it was then, and many crazy days followed. One scent has always accompanied and protected me during that time: ALLIAGE - he says : Until here and no further. Keep your distance, this woman must stand her ground - at all times. Hard and yet tender, unapproachable and yet enveloping, woody and yet warm - ALLIAGE unites everything and the feeling of that time, which brought so much growth and change. I have never experienced such an atmosphere of departure again.

Unapproachable green and woody notes, united with peach, pine and musk, conclude a fragrance that ends somewhat bitter-herbaceous and yet endearing. Quite typical understatement for the office. Clear demarcation. Desperation paired with hope and kindness. This scent is contradictory and indicative of my state then. And also today. Never would I want to miss it.

He is unique.

ALLIAGE continues to accompany me. The story is not over yet.

Funny that it is the first comment here, but this fragrance is an absolute exotic in my collection. I paid a few euros for it at the time, but it was worth it. It is available in a much nicer bottle, which has already been described here. Which one contains the better scent now, I can't judge. I have this one and even obtaining it was adventurous enough, many years ago from Kuwait.... It is a fragrance that I also only put on for very special occasions. It is so extraordinary and unique that I have a hard time finding the right, appropriate words.

Floral - oriental is a broad term, for me it is much more.

He starts citrusy - green and fresh, but immediately after flowers follow in a true splendor and very strong. I am intoxicated.
Now come benzoin , heliotrope and something like desert sand-animalic.
Some light wood.
In addition, a dark vanilla - musk - mixture and somehow I smell something oud.
The whole thing is sooo stunning and, as I find, sooo SEXY.

Somehow it reminds me of Amanda Lear - the tart mysterious beauty.

This scent is so unique, and I follow it. But only at certain times and it reminds me, like so many of my fragrances, of my youth and that unknown, exciting time from the Valley of the Kings - transported to another world.

Today now the time for the first spray had come from this wonderful, stylish bottle. One thing in advance : this small perfume safe makes already what her, everything is nobly processed, black-gold details and the leather label convince me. But it depends on the fragrance.

It starts fresh at first, pear and raspberry clearly emerging. Peach flits by. Currant follows shortly. I wait a bit. Then, after a few minutes, something pungent, fake, synthetic - I don't know what it is - comes on. It bothers me to no end.
Almost to the point that I want to wash it off again. But no, I want to give it some more time.

I keep waiting ---- The artificial scent sprouts on my skin with relish. Grrrrrr....
Plastic flowers galore, in all colors......

Hmm, the heart note is supposed to have lily of the valley - I don't smell any. Always just that plastic smell.

Some time has passed, after a cup of tea and a bit of relaxed gardening I keep sniffing my forearm, the artificial smell is still very noticeable. I had hopes that it might change in the fresh air....

And then, after quite a while, a little vanilla comes around the corner, quite woody. But that's fine, perfectly adequate. The woodiness intensifies, must be sandalwood. Heliotrope I can not sniff with the best will in the world. Musk ? Where? When?

When I think about how long Guerlain has been with me, you can almost say our relationship lasted longer than some marriages.... ;-)) Related to my professional life this is true, many works I was already allowed to test or I may call my own.

Guerlain - formerly a family-run business with in-house perfumers - this brand creates fragrance creations for all walks of life with the unmistakable Guerlain signature.

Until about 2 years ago, I was the owner of the fragrance Sous le Vent, which I only put on for very special occasions. He was so precious and out of this world, a dream, unfortunately no longer available.

But this fragrance is not the point today. Another sweetheart has reached me, thanks to the bottling of duck radio I may now test Vega extensively.

A precious spray - and I immediately find myself in another dimension. The typical aldehydes and a true sea of flowers start the flight to VEGA, the fifth brightest star in the firmament. I travel through the cosmos with blossoms, some jasmine and ylang-ylang, accompanied in the control room by iris and vanilla. There's also bergamot, tarragon and sandalwood. Lavender is supposedly also included, I do not smell it, it has previously left the spaceship.

I jet through space at breakneck speed and bring the dream scent with me from my ride in the sky... VEGA shines bright and radiant and covers with this heavenly fragrance the dark universe and many a black hole...

In the end, I touch down on the blue planet again, with the final chord of musk and white heliotrope. I close my eyes and enjoy the end of my fragrance journey.

If this were available again for Sous le Vent - this heavenly fragrance happiness would be hard to believe.

But even a Parfumo may sometimes dream... ;-)
